The most overrated Anime/Manga

For me got to be Naruto, don't get me wrong they are all over rated on this list but Naruto is one of the worse animes I have the mispleasure of attempting to watch.

One Piece and Dragon Ball Z have a similar feel but not as bad as Naruto.

How is Saint Seiya even on here?

@blackwind: Some people claim that they can destroy multiveres with a punch and fodderize superman prime.

@gokuss4z: SS is barely even mentioned in comparison to these others.

Bleach, its pretty much a watered down cut and paste of other Manga's.

Saint Seiya, people claim the characters have infinite power or some times two infinites or more infinites, not joking thats how they roll

Also people say they writing its better that Star Wars and the character are better that Batman.

Doesnt help its one of the sacred anime-manga.

Sain Seiya fanbase its the worst fanabse i had to deal with it, it like DBZ fanbase but with a sense they like the most awesome thing ever and they are totally right.

Bigger that LoTR in writing and insane thing like that.

I liked it, but Dragonball Z is very overrated.

Naruto started out good, but became a lot worse with Shippuden. I'd say Shippuden was pretty overrated.

Bleach was never good; it's overrated.

Never got around to Saint Seiya, so I can't comment.

Eh, One Piece is kind of overrated. It really has its ups and downs throughout the series. I enjoy it for the most part, though.

Can someone close this thread. It is basically "which anime has the most fanboys" question , It does not work because exhibit 1.) The one voted the most overrated will not be the one that actually is the most overrated, Because fanboys from other anime/mangas will vote each other on this poll. The bigger fanbase will determine the winner. Exhibit 2.) This is comicvine , A lot of people will dislike Goku because of the constant Goku vs. Superman debate (Thus most likely voting DBZ) Exhibit 3.) Some people read only the title and did i say this comicvine?

I get why so many people are saying dragon ball z as a huge dragon ball z fan I can say some of its fans can be crazy like saying goku is a universe buster.

I don't know about power levels, but it boggles the mind how One Piece sells so much.

DBZ...let's be completely honest right now pretty much everybody who is stuck on nostalgia knows that the series is good at one thing and that's fight scenes. And mediocre humor. The plot is amateurish. The villains, while entertaining are nothing to write home about. And the pacing is god awful.

Naruto started off well. And even some early Shippuden was watchable. But it just turned to garbage later.

I think Pokemon should be there among the choices.

They all get overrated to be honest, but I can make a specific list when it comes to Comic characters from my personal experience in numerical order from worst offender to least:

1) Pre 52 Wally West (By far the worse people circle jerk the crap out of this character, like CV here he stomps Odin and Silver age Superman)

2) Zoom/ Reverse-Flash (Second worse this guy cannot EVER lose)

3) Barry Allan/Jay Garrick/Bart Allan (Pretty much same as 2 just not as bad)

4) Superman (I call him Superman the Invincible, which pretty much sums him up)

5) Hmmm who else? Ohh yeah how could I forget our friendly neighborhood Spider-man the Psychic (Spider-man the mind reader is what I call him, apparently Spider-man is psychic and can "One-Shote" anyone)

6) Anyone with super speed, because apparently they all "Blitz" their opponent like they're in a middle school football game. And through speed blitzing they wins automatically no matter what.

Saint Seiya has the feats to back them up, and I barely see them in the forums anyway.

Why is Saint Seiya here? Saint Seiya is pretty much DBZ with actual feats to back up and consistency XD.

Of that list it's most definitely One Piece. Otherwise I would say Code Geass.

I never see Batman ever get overrated. I just see people trolling about the Chew Force and they're not really serious about any of it.

People were saying that because Red Hood was taking Bane's Venom and was shown to very strong. He was able to break Supergirl's grip she had on him. He was fast enough to leave without her hearing him even with her super hearing.

I know nothing about Midnighter so I cannot really comment on him.

Silver Surfer isn't overrated the Cosmic Power is kind of like a excuse for Marvel to be able to let him doing anything he wants. Silver Surfer is very good though, I mean the guy was spawned by Galactus he better be good. Do you read Silver Surfers Comics?

The most overrated anime/manga/LN would be that pile of **** called Mahouka. This thing makes the clustermuck that was war arc Nardo & Chlorox's "rehash the same plot in same arc " seems less terrible by comparision. It's impossible to find a single likable thing about it other than remembering everything it has is written seriously without any intended comedy & laugh at that fact. And you also have to deal with weeaboos who defend this **** by saying "Japanese has right to be racist because chinese movies are so racist".

Based on power I don’t think how it could be anything else except for saint seiya. This list isn’t about which series is overrated cause degaonball would be last if this wa sa thread like that.

Dbz is overrated, zero plot and terrible fights but people liked it. I didn't even get behind it as a kid and only watched the abridged series and know the story because a friend invited me to a game and I bought a copy.
