The Marvel Cinematic Universe's Timeline Order (and challenge!)

In the very unlucky nation that is America, we haven't had the pleasure to watch the Avengers yet. Usually, when I'm about to watch a sequel of a movie in theaters, I go back and watch the previous installments beforehand. Ya know, to refresh my memory. Now with this being the Avengers, you have 6 films leading up to it with some tie-ins, totaling to about 10.3 hours of movies to watch. Tomorrow, I'll be doing this. The twist? I'm doing it in the correct timeline order.

With the majority of Cap's film being set in WWII, and parts of Thor taking place in Nordic times, and with Hulk happening right in the middle of the films Thor and Iron Man 2, this should appear to be a very confusing task. Fear not! If you want to participate in this challenge of sorts, I have the order to stop and play each film in its proper timeline order.

Without further adieu, here it is:

· Thor- Frost Giants Invade Earth; Odin adopts Loki (0:00- 7:35)

· Cap- Whole WWII Flashback (3:40 - 1:50:45)

· Iron Man- Whole Movie

· Hulk- Deleted Arctic Scene; Banner cuts his hand (0:00- 9: 44)

· IM 2- Tony makes Pepper CEO of Stark Industries (0:00- 25:00)

· Hulk- Ross raids Brazil; Banner wakes up in Guatemala (9:44- 31:38)

· IM 2- Stark solves Arc Reactor problem (25:00- 1:32:00)

· Thor- Frost Giants steal from Odin (7:35 - 12:40)

· IM 2- Whiplash vs. Iron Man and War Machine (1:32:00 -1:54:00 )

· Hulk- Blonsky is injected with Super Soldier Serum (31:38- 47:33)

· Thor- Thor is banished to Midguard (12:40 - 35:32)

· SHIELD- Coulson prevents armed robbery (Cap Deleted Scene)

· Thor- Warriors Three and Sif go to Midguard (35:32 - 1:18:22)

· Hulk- Hulk vs. Army and Blonsky (47:33- 58:13)

· IM 2- Nick Fury tells Tony he can't be an Avenger (1:54:00- Credits)

· Thor- Thor breaks Bifrost Bridge (1:18:22 - Credits)

· Hulk- Hulk vs Abomination (58:13- 1:42:40)

· Thor- Post-Credits Scene

· SHIELD- "The Consultant" (Thor Deleted Scene)

· Hulk- Banner has control (1:42:40- Credits)

· Cap- Steve Rogers is found (0:00- 3:40) (1:50:45 - Credits)

Yeah, I know. I have too much time on my hands. But...... shut up. I've been working hard on this, and I'm excited for this movie, lol.

I have a feeling youre intertwining them too much. I think all of Hulk takes place well before Iron Man 2. I know where the theory that theyre taking place at the same time came from but I think that the footage that Fury was looking at was a recording. This is backed a bit by how Tony shows up at the bar to talk to Ross it looks like hes already accepted into and joined the Avengers Initiative. Thor's banishment to Midgard takes place before the Iron Man/War Machine Whiplash fight. It takes place right before Tony creates the new element since that is when Coulson tells Tony that there is a situation he has to take care of in New Mexico.(I just watched Iron man 2 again)

@noj: This is all based on several timelines already established all over different websites. Hulk may or may not have taken place before Iron Man 2, but my personal preference is to have them all intertwined. Makes it a little more interesting, and it sort of makes sense when you line it all up.

what was the post credits scene of Thor??

Little points of critic "the consultant" and the clip where coulson stops a robbery is a marvel short not a deleted scene and it's midgard not midguard but really well done.

It's incorrect. Iron Man 2 takes place before Thor and the Incredible Hulk.
