The Doctor (Doctor Who) in Real Life

What if the TARDIS and the Doctor (Any incarnation) become trapped in the real world universe one day? Would the world react with fear or respect to the Time Lord? What will be the evil people in the world (Criminals, terrorists, tyrannical countries, etc) reactions be? Will the Doctor use his intelligence and abilities to make the world a better place if he could? What would the Doctor`s reaction be when he realizes that there is a TV show about him? Will the Doctor try to find a way back to his own universe?

@doctor_alchemist: They actually did an entire comic on it. Firstly, most people would think he's mat smith Peter Capaldi (sorry, still adjusting), or a crazy person. The Doctor's knowledge would also be a boon, and I don't see a reason any normal person would fear him, though governments might. He'd also be stuck here for the most part, unless he gets lucky again.
