So, which of these films did you find superior? Your reasons?
The Dark Knight ,The Winter Soldier,Iron-man or Spider-man 2
This should'nt be a question at all. The Dark Knight although The Winter Soldier is a fun movie.
Lol okay. Winter Soldier was better,and had better action sequences.Batman fights so sloppy and slow in those movies.
@flashrobin: Tell that to the Academy Awards.

And that makes it a better movie? I'm sorry but TDK is a Best Picture worthy movie but the academy will never recognize a superhero movie. WS was my favorite MCU movie but TDK is on a whole other level
@godzilla44: The only CBM that can compete with TDK is Spider-Man 2 in terms of quality IMO and it wasnt made by Marvel its Sony.

I never thought they would be able to make HYDRA work in the modern era, it felt too cartoony to have an organization like that working today, but somehow they made it all mesh together really well, and it carried over into the Agents of SHIELD show in a big way too which I really enjoyed.
Cap is a bore, character-wise, but that's his charm. For me, he represents our abandoned values from the World War II era; that kind of fascination with technology they had and firm confidence in who they were. But he also represents the boring person, who isn't cocky or 'mighty' or even incredible at any one thing. He just does the best he can and stays true to himself. It's easy for me to relate to, and that's why I loved The Winter Solider so much.
Personally I think Winter Soldier was the better movie and CMB movie overall.
Winter Soldier was the perfect combination of being true to the comics, realism and modernisation to me. The Dark Knight was good, but it didn't feel like a CBM to me.
I agree,but I do feel like The Dark Knight was a influence on The Winter Soldier though
Winter Soldier has more rewatchabilty... at least for me, Nolan's movies seem to be great the first time and good, to okay on subsequent viewings. That's my opinion though.
- The Dark Knight
- The Winter Soldier
- Spider-Man 2
In that order.
Winter Soilder
Spider-Man 2
Dark knight.....had no idea wtf bane was saying
What? I don't know that Bane was in The Dark Knight at all. O_O
@vinomonster: directors cut
@noone301994: Spider-man 2 not Amazing Spider-Man. ..
@flameboy298: Oh, right. Misread. Sorry.
@midnightdragon18: Bane doesnt appear in The Dark Knight he appears in the sequel which is The Dark Knight Rises..Seriously?
- The Dark Knight
- Spider-Man 2
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier
I honestly don't get why so many go crazy over TWS, to me it was just a decent but flawed action movie, nothing more.
I can always rematch tws whenever I want to. Same can't be said for TDK
Not sure where I'd rank spider man 2, it had that stupid scene where Peter leaves that man to get mugged
So probably
The Winter Soldier
Tie between TDK and spider man 2
- The Dark Knight
- The Winter Soldier
- Spider-Man 2
In that order.
TDK is one of the best action movies since 2000 and has one of the most iconic villain of the movie history. TWS is a good cinecomic, that's all. People who don't recognize the superiority of TDK are just fanboys ;)
I wouldn't label it action movie because its more a Crime,Thriller.
- Spider-Man 2
- The Dark Knight
- Winter Soldier
I think people forget just how awesome Spider-Man 2 really was (and still is). It's as perfect a Spidey film as we're probably ever going to see.
TDK>>>>>>>MCU and DCCU so far combined, hoping BVS,justice league, civil war and infinity war change that
Spidey wins for me.
I loved TDK when it first came out (I was ten) and I watched it a lot, but I recently rewatched it and found it not really enjoyable. I figured it was overexposure to quotes and the feeling of familiarity (It had no tension anymore since I knew what was gonna happen)
As for Winter Soldier, I thought it was average. I enjoyed the first Cap, but felt let down by the second. It felt too generic action movie to me.
@moul: its funy when someone says something that can be applied to them as well LOL
tdk isnt even a superhero movie
its a cia agent vs a terrorist who like dressing like villains/superheroes
@spider-manwins: TDK has a great director, great cinematography, great cast, great villain, great dialogues, great music and great action scenes
TWS: Falcon is a token black guy, Black Widow is a generic femme fatale, the villains are Robert Redford,who plays a generic villain (lol), and Bucky without personality. The music is forgettable and Anthony and Joe Russo are not as good as Christopher Nolan
SM2: It's a very good movie, Raimi is a great director, the action scenes are awesome, the story is cute and the music of Danny Elfman is epic, but the villain is a cliché. Heath Ledger's Joker became an icon, Alfred Molina's Octopus is just the classic bad guy who redeem himself at the end.
