Mine would be catwoman. i cant stand the writing and the stuff thats going on there, so i ended up dropping it
As most people have said, I don't read books that I don't like which is why I dropped stuff like Deathstroke, Green Arrow, Avengers Assemble.
However, of the books that I still read the one that I am disappointed with is Captain America and Black Widow. The story hasn't been incredibly engaging and the excessive use of black and red is a little irritating. I don't mind muddled backgrounds (don't prefer it) if it is still visually pleasing but the art isn't that well done so it just looks like a mess. Haven't been too thrilled with Cullen Bunn's story line either. There was a noticable decline in quality after Brubaker finished the Cap and Bucky arcs and handed the reigns to Bunn. The same can be said for the final arcs of the main Captain Americs series that Brubaker juat plotted out while Bunn did the dialogue.
Wonder Woman has really been disappointing the crap out of me. She's one of my favs though so she stays on my list.
Replace "Wonder Woman" (A series I really like btw) with "Spider-man" (and the she's with a he's) and you have my vote. The Amazing Spier-man (save for the Lizard story) has been quite bad IMHO. Why Dan Slott is so revered is beyond me, his writing style is mostly cheap gimmicks, solutions to problems appearing out of nowhere and repetition of plot-points. I know that this about my 50th anti-Dan Slott post, but I guess we all need a hobby. :)
I gotta tell ya The Crow 5 issue mini has the worst art I have ever seen in a comic book. While the storyline itself isn't bad the chicken scratch art trying to be edgy and the piss poor action panels (maybe due to the script the artist is working from?) have really killed this book for me. Beware people beware!
