The Wolverine without a doubt. The point of a credit scene is to get me excited about the future projects and it was the only one that did that for me. The Collector scene for Thor came off as really goofy and the second scene was really unnecessary and just lame.
I think the Marvel credits scenes all stand out. It's hard to pick one over the other, because they are designed to build excitement and anticipation for the next film. Wolverine's got me excited for Days of Future Past. Thor's got me excited for Guardians of the Galaxy. The second one in Thor was hilarious. But Iron Man's was a total punchline. It's a joke that never gets old, and I laugh just thinking about it. I hope to see Robert Downey, Jr., Mark Ruffalo and Paul Rudd riffing super-hero humor in an Avengers sequel!
The Wolverine wins this easily. When I was watching I was just so in awe that Xavier was back and Magneto had his powers back. Then my mind actually comprehended what was happening and I got excited all over again. Exactly what end credits should do.
I have to admit Thor's looked like something out of The Fifth Element and didn't give us comic readers anything we hadn't figured out with the post-cred Avengers scene. Didn't know Pacific Rim had one, didn't care to stick around to see the IM3 one so...
The Wolverine it is, because it also really was that awesome that those two just appeared out of nowhere.
You know, I made my mom and my brother wait for me while I sat in the movie theater waiting for an after credits scene in Man of Steel. And you know what I got? Nothing! I can say that I was mad but really I loved that movie too much to care.
I didn't see the post credits scene in Thor: The Dark World, but the pre-credits scene with Sif, Volstagg, and The Collector had me absolutely geeked when she said "Infinity Stones" and he said "One down, five to go." That alone would've had me vote it Best Credits Scene. When you consider that and the fact that we saw Thanos in the post credits scene in Avengers how can you not be excited?
