These 2 are considered to be among darkest comics in DC. Which is better, and which is darker?

Blackest Night for me. LoS doesn't really give a dark feel to it. Final Crisis was darker than both IMO.
AAAAH, didn't see the second question! GDS is better IMHO, but Blackest Night was darker.

This, Final Crisis was rather dark.
@ssejllenrad: Refresh my memory, what's LoS?
@logy5000: Legion of Superheroes. Y'know... The main characters in Great Darkness...
@ssejllenrad: I feel like such an idiot right now......
Eh, I'd have to choose Blackest Night in terms of pure enjoyment, although it's not really that dark...

Agreed with this (tho it definitely started out dark...Hawkman and Hawkgirl getting brutally murdered by BL Plastic Man...that was pretty dark).

Also agreed w/ this...coincidentally enough, a lot of the resurrected heroes we saw in Blackest Night got killed in Final Crisis, and it was hella dark.
To answer the question, tho, I'd say Blackest Night...it certainly didn't feel dark the whole time (thanks to Barry and Hal), but its darkest moments were incredibly dark (Hawks getting murdered, Black Hand resurrecting "Batman," etc.). Interesting post =)
