In the years of research I've looked to see who the best character is here are names that are common

1. Batman

2. Joker

3. Iron Man

4. Spider-man

5. Superman

6. Lex Luthor

7. Doc Ock

8. Captain America

9. Crimson Dynamo

10. Red Skull

11. Hulk

12. Leader

13. Nightwing

14. Riddler

15. Deadpool

i know Superman and Spider-man were listed as worst

Spider-man was listed as worst because of the Sam Raimi films because of his crying

Superman was listed as worse because he's basically unbeatable unless you possess Kryptonite, magic, or red sun radiation

but they are great especially because of the new reboot

PS: I don't get the point of the thread; and why mention supes and spidey being considered the worst if it's a the best list? and those reasons for them being the worst sound terribly biased or dumb

Best and favorite are different titles in my opinion.

Best Superman- Without him we may never have had these great characters

Favorite- Tie between Hawkeye and Storm

Robin is not gay. That's referring to both his sexuality and whether he's very happy or not.

Okay, 1, disliking a comic character because of a film is ridiculous.
2. Spider-Man is a legitimately great character and one of the first really relate-able characters.
3. Superman is basically the first comic superhero so your list falls apart without him.
Lastly, while Spider-Man is my favorite comic character FadetoBlackBolt once posted the most convincing post I've ever seen when explaining Batman is the best character. So you're at least right about #1.
P.S: Crimson Dynamo? Really?
Stilt-Man would be a better addition to the list then him!

@Decoy Elite: i don't hate spider-man because of a film the trilogy was good but "Spider-man was terrible but the new one was amazing thats its "The Amazing Spider-man" and the other 2 were good Stilt Man really

On-topic: It is a very subjective matter. To each his/her own opinion. I don't have a particular comic book character that I regard to as the best. There are however, a few equally great ones. :)

@ScottyHawkeye: Batman is fantastic. The reason I pick Superman over him is because Batman only represents the mental and physical excellence that humanity wishes to achieve. Superman represents the moral character that humanity should be striving for. That's what I meant by "the one by which all others are judged."
