The Best characters should be wonder woman's boyfriend
@leo-343: @mufc: bad idea...never go full Flashpoint
Aquaman? Ew. I'd rather her be lesbian.
Would hate Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Aquaman and Mera are the best couple. She should try dating someone else. how about Nightwing or someone abit out of the ordinary.
I think anyone who has seen me post about Wonder Woman has known that I love the idea of Aquaman and Wonder Woman. Even though Aquaman and Mera is the better pairing and are one of the best couples in comics, it's a matter of when not if DC breaks them up. Should the situation arise where Aquaman and Wonder Woman are single, I'd say go for it.

You know, you're not the first person to suggest DickxDiana over the past month on this forum. I would say the most positive thing about that pairing is that it would unite Batman and Superman fanboys against DickxDiana and I think you would agree with me that comic fandom works best when Batman fans and Superman fans get along.
@youknowwhattodo: haha was just an example. haha. Just don't get brought down by the sillyness of arguing over character. Stick to the facts and your ok.

Sure it was lol, we all have our crack pairings, don't feel ashamed if yours is DickxDiana, I don't know where it came from but I won't judge you haha.
Seriously though, I'm not brought down by those arguments personally as much as it is that I feel as though the threads in which they are brought up are because the majority of those debates occur when the subject matter has nothing to do with BM/WW vs SM/WW and it derails the threads.
@youknowwhattodo: Fair enough haha, nar trying to find a street leveler. In all fairness my fav with Diana has always been Steve Trevor. Like the classic pairings.
Aquaman? Ew. I'd rather her be lesbian.
Not a lesbian ! Anything but that horrible fate
@darling_luna: That is a horrible fate. Such a waste of perfectly good woman. :P
@ostyo: Tell me about it
@darling_luna: Down, Pikachu.
Her and aquaman fit really well together....
The last time they're together it resulted to a reboot Haha. lol. So I'm against that.

Lol fair enough, also nice kyle rayner AV(one of my fav characters)
If Aquaman and Mera ever broke things off I'd love to see a romance between him and Wonder Woman. The two of them just feel like they'd connect on a personal level very easily, and it'd be incredibly easy to create stories that share their mythos, rather than them taking turns delving into one another's worlds as would be the case with Superman (Sci Fi) or Batman (Detective stories).
With her fellow Trinity members the stories are limited. Superman or Batman have to enter her world of gods and magic, which neither of them really feel right for, though Superman can co-exist there more easily due to his powers, where as Batman would be well out of his power tier sweet spot. Wonder Woman would clash horribly in Batman's world where she could easily overwhelm any of his rogues and the gritty darkness of Gotham would pale her brightness seem out of place. Wonder Woman can fit decently well in Superman's world, but then it becomes a Superman story with Wonder Woman tagging along, just as the opposite would be true if Superman went to her world.
With Aquaman though, you don't have those issues. They are both magic based fantasy heroes, they are both in the high tier bruiser category, and they both draw from Greek mythology to fill their mythos. Their stories align so nicely that I'm surprised there aren't more Wonder Woman/Aquaman team up books. It'd be so simple to create a story involving Poseidon or to bring back Triton and come up with a reason for the two warrior heroes to team up. They could fight massive sea creatures and island dwelling demigods. The stories practically write themselves!
- Steve Trevor
- Superman
- Aquaman
- Batman
Batman doesn't actually get 10 he's much further down the list.
lol why? Do you remember DCAU? The writers specifically said that Batman is a better and more interesting match for Wonder Woman, than compared to Superman.
Yes I remember the DCAU and I find it only helps my case. So what if they said that? Their opinions are not fact. If writers opinions were fact then there would never be any terrible things created. Yet we know that's isn't true.
@metaljimmor: A story did write itself in the form of Aquaman Annual #2 - Born of Giants as it was a great example of how they could work together. The partnership felt natural (it wasn't romantic), when they fought the enemies, both were on equal footing and they each brought something to the table. Diana brought her knowledge of the Giants and Arthur knew Daniel Evans, who was essentially a plot device for that issue. Not to mention there was a team-up with Diana and Mera, so even if people don't like the idea of DianaxArthur, they would at least acknowledge from that annual that Wonder Woman and Mera would make a kick-ass team.
I don't want her to date Batman, but I want him to get some from her every now and then.
*Throws up*
I came in here to do the whole annoying, "I would rather Wonder Woman not have boyfriend," but I lucked out and happened upon some pretty nifty imagery. Thanks, guys!
Personally, I think Wonder Woman is better off single. But if she must be with someone, it should be Steve. WW/SM is yucky.
@ostyo: Woah there my ignorant friend.
No Batwoman
Or Black Canary
Or Vixen
or Hawkwoman
or Zatanna
or Mera
or Power Girl
or Big Barda
Or Artemis/Alexa
