The Age of Ultron...Excited or not Excited

A teaser has been revealed, and it seems like the age of ultron is happening. Are you excited or not excited. For me, I am excited because it is freakin ultron! I am just glad that this may not be another hero vs hero event. Maybe it can be reduced into an avengers event.

I can't see the image, but I wish Marvel would hold off on this for a year and establish their post AVX universe more.

I was when we heard about it like a million years ago but not an longer. In fact now I don't want it to happen.

Wait they're finally fighting a villain! Indeed Marvel is the house of ideas!

It's very hard to get excited about Marvel events based on the recent track record, but I will admit that the breadcrumbs left over the years about the "Age of Ultron" really piqued my interest. For once someone was taking the time to build into an event and lay the groundwork properly.

I'm not sure how well it fits in the post Marvel Now landscape as compared to when it was started, or how it will effect all the new or recently rebooted titles that have yet to establish their own directions due to lack of time. At this point all I could say is I'm skeptical yet curious.

Not really, Marvel have a very bad track record when it comes to events

Reasons for being excited: It's Ultron.

Reasons for not being excited: It's Marvel, they're bad with events, AvX just got finished and they're already jumping head-first into another event, they'll probably have heroes fighting heroes in the middle of it, and it's Marvel.

Overall, I'm awaiting people to rage about how horrible it is, once it comes out.

I didn't say they would, I said I wish they would.....

the event doesn't start until the Spring of 2013 so that's plenty of time to get things set up with other books

I'm excited about Ultron, but not about it as an event.

Who's writing it?

I'm only collecting 3 Marvel Now books...Deadpool, Fantastic Four, and Indestructible Hulk. Not sure how Age of Ultron will affect anything I'm reading. If it doesn't, then I'll probably skip it. Probably...

I'm very excited for it. I think it will be an Avengers event so hopefully it will just stay with Hickman's book and whatever books Hank and Jan are in. Ultron may be my favorite villain. It would be nice to see a ruthless and murdering robot just taking control.
