Terra Should Not Be Considered Beast Boy's True Love

I really hate it how Terra 1 treated Beast Boy. I really Do No Like Terra 1. But after seeing the New 52 Terra I have to ask myself, why are they still trying to pair up Terra and Beast Boy together. Sure they are friends now, but what about later? What happened to Jillian Jackson, you know Beast Boy's first girlfriend/love of his life. If memory serves me right it was actually Terra who ruined Jillian and Gar's marriage. Does Gar really need a new Terra that he likes? He couldn't get over Terra 1 (Blackest Night Titans), and he wanted nothing with Terra 2 (Team Titans). So do we need a 4th Terra to be the "right one" for him, or an old girlfriend like Jillian, or a new one like Raven. Maybe even Donna Troy, he always had a thing for her and tried to flirt with her. Heck I'd be even over joyed with him going out with Starfire.

I think the problem here is that you're treating Terras as nothing more than a love interest. If the first Terra doesn't work, why would we need a new Terra as opposed to a new character to be his love interest?

That said, I always liked the Terra/Beast Boy pairing. With Raven it was okay, but I always felt that there was unexplored territory with Terra that could have been taken. That said, since the New 52's being rebooted -- at least Terra/Beast Boy wise, the past relationship that they had means nothing which means that it should bother you as you're getting your new "Terra 4" being created.

Donna Troy doesn't exist anymore, Starfire is steering clear of actual relationships at the moment, and Didio and Lobdell have other plans for Raven apparently. Terra and Gars pre dcnu relationship doesn't apply here.

@ReVamp: Yes but also have to consider is this the Beast Boy that grew up with the Teen Titans or not. If this is the BB who joined TT, then she is Terra 4. Also I didn't treat Terra 2 as a love interest, just as a person that Gar did not want to associate because she reminds him of Terra 1 which in fact is the clone of Terra 1. I also did not mention Terra 3 at all. Plus I also wanted this to be a change for Gar. Yeah she has new hair and a background but she is still the same earth user that has the same name. I'm just hoping they can just stay friends and for them to see other people. Also remember what I said about Jillian Jackson.

@Avenging-X-Bolt: Donna Troy exists just not yet, I think Lobdell mentioned that. I know what the others are doing I was just making suggestions if they weren't in that current situation. I think it would be funny to see a BB/Starfire pairing...it's different.

She doesn't exist, dc told us that at the beginning of the reboot to calm us down. But it's more or less confirmed now that she doesn't exist.

A lot of people liked Donna Troy. DC doesn't give a crap because she doesn't fit into their "grand scheme"

A geokinetic, shapeshifting child would be pretty cool tho, haha.... Epsecially with Beast Boys new skin tone :)

Before I ever even picked up a comic book I liked this pairing. Now I've read lots of teen titans comics both new and old, and I like it all the more. I've always thought they should be together. Then finally they cement their relationship with one kiss in Teen Titans issue 100...

And then New 52.

Eff you DC, Beast Boy is the character you've ruined the most IMO. I've said it for months and I'll say it again... Beast Boy has been destroyed in the New 52.
