Poll Teen Titans or Young Justice? (37 votes)
I went through this search engine and Google and I couldn't find this which really surprised me.
Which one do you prefer? Not in a fight amongst characters but which one was the better show?

@fodigg: Ok now I'm going to ask you this because you obviously don't know about the original.... How old are you? Not trying to be rude but I'm just curious as to why you never heard of it.
I've never seen Young Justice, but I've heard nothing but good things about it. It's a real shame that good superhero shows tend to get canceled very quickly nowadays (YJ, EMH, GL, etc). As for Teen Titans, I grew up watching that. Great show. Wish it could have had a proper comeback, instead of "TT GO!". Not that it's a bad show. I've watched a few episodes and, honestly, they were pretty funny. But I really prefer a show with a story.

Old enough, trust me. Seriously there was a Teen Titans tv show just called "Teen Titans"? Okay, let's grab the wikipedia here.

Huh. So it was called Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go! was just a tie-in comic? But now it's back under the latter name and it's only shorts? I didn't even know that. I thought they just appeared as a part of the DC Nation or whatever.
See, I was managing the shop when that show was on so every tie-in comic we sold had "Teen Titans Go!" slapped real big right on the cover. I didn't realize that the show was titled different. Must have failed my spot check every single time I watched an episode.
@fodigg: Lol yeah i just addressed this in the other thread lol.
That's actually kind of funny.
@experio: Why? Not trying to be mean just curious. @allstarsuperman:

But seriously.... Why in a stomp? I loved both shows but I grew up with Teen Titans and it had a longer lasting impact on me so i voted for that one. Why did you chose YJ?
Tough one. I grew up with Teen Titans and loved that cartoon. I also like that its more faithful to the comics, particularly in its lineup. But it was also the first show I strongly rejected when I got bored with superhero stuff and actively avoided until Thor restarted my interest years later. I also have to rank Young Justice highly as it was the ultimate catalyst in what got me to actually read comic books.
@deathstroke19: well mostly cause Young Justice left you wanting more. But by season 5 of teen titans it was murder.
Young Justice. It had so much more depth and an actual character/story plot. I love TT but YJ wins in every category.
Young Justice in a stomp
Young Justice. They could actually mention and show the JL and didn't turn Slade into some weird agent of Trigon.
@cloakx14: Why? @allstarsuperman: We'll have to agree to disagree lol. @xlab3000: Why?

Well it was a good show, i just thought it got boring after a while. I especially hated when they would focus on Beast Boy for 99% of the time.
@allstarsuperman: Yeah the last season was my least favorite too but all the others were so good that they canceled out anything bad in the fifth season.
The final episode was such a cliffhanger it wasn't even funny.
@the_stegman: In the final battle between the Titans and Trigon Slade explicitly states "I don't serve anyone." Or something along those lines. Yes he was an agent of Trigon but he only did it to get his soul and flesh back.
@deathstroke19: Look at the quotes below. Don't get me wrong TT was good.

@xlab3000: Fair enough. @jasonhawke: Suffer! >:D
YJ never been a fan of the anime style on teen titans, and the stories/characters had wayyyyyyy more depth
Everyone saying they grew up with TT, does it make me old to say I grew up with BTAS and felt too old for TT?
Despite that I've happily watched all of each of the 3 shows in the past year
I loved both, so it's very very hard to pick. I'll differentiate by saying YJ for story, and Teen Titans for comedy.
@drmantistoboggan: No it doesn't make you sound old. A lot of people on this site grew up we BTAS and seeing as how they were older when TT came out they probably thought it was a lot more immature then the people that grew up with it and so most your age are picking YJ.
