My family is having problems with our oven here every so often, so next time it happens I could just use my power to cook our food until the repair man gets around to coming to fix it again.

Be warm while shoveling snow

I didn't even think of that, yes! Never mind my oven answer, I'd just wait for a big storm and melt the snow off the walkway and driveway instead of being out there forever shoveling.

There's been a few times when I've had trouble getting fire started at my summer cabin and when doing metal working when it would have been handy to heat things by just staring at them intently enough.

The ability to turn other objects intangible but not yourself

I would become a professional smuggler.

Play football inside the house so the football just goes through the doors or something..

Probably could use it to become a rather popular magician.

Send lots of pests into people's homes to scare the owners away. Then rob their houses.

Shoplifting and pickpocketing I guess... though it could come in handy when moving heavy & cumbersome objects around in tight spaces.

Anyway for selective intangibility maybe robbing banks? Just put on a mask, run through vault doors, and run out with cash.

@bflynn316: well you can't turn yourself intangible but you can turn the vault door...

Yeah I meant the vault door. Also the guns of any cops that show up, if they manage to get there fast enough.

@bflynn316: Do it by night and you don't have to worry nearly as many cops and guards since timed vaults and security lock downs are a non-issue. :-)

Yeah this is actually my ideal power if I had to just pick one. You can make any inane activity look awesome, plus you can fly yourself anywhere and lift things with your mind. Best power.
