I'm slowly making my way into reading more comics. Do any of you have suggestions? It can be from Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, or any other companies. I just want more things to get into and read.

From DC, I'd recommend:

  1. Animal Man
  2. Green Lantern
  3. Batman
  4. Aquaman
  5. Justice League Dark
  6. Action Comics
  7. Swamp Thing
  8. Wonder Woman
  9. Demon Knights
  10. Earth 2
  11. I, Vampire
  12. The Flash

From Marvel I'm reading (and recommend):

  1. Amazing Spider-Man (ending soon)
  2. Uncanny X-Force (ending soon)
  3. Daredevil

And I'm going to read from Marvel NOW: Superior Spider-Man, Captain America and maybe Secret Avengers.

From Indies I'm reading Invincible (Image) and Bloodshot (Valiant). I recommend both, especially Invincible.

You should just try the relaunch of first issues of Marvel now major characters.

What brought me back into comics was Bryan Q. Miller's Batgirl series featuring Stephanie Brown. What kept me in comics was Gail Simone's Secret Six series. All of the back issues are available on Comixology.

For Current DC Titles, pick up:

  • Stormwatch
  • Suicide Squad
  • Teen Titans
  • Wonder Woman

Outside of both DC and Marvel, try:
