Who is the strongest?

No omnipotent figures like Buddha or God.

Edit: I should've clarified that I meant strength as in power compared to other gods.

Heracles

This, unless I'm not remembering something. But yeah, his name is even a definition of strength.

In Norse mythology... it's a toss up between Borr's children, Fenris and Surtur:

  • Surtur because he is the propecised end of days that will wash the world away in flame because he looses control of his sword when he dies.
  • Odin, Vili and Ve, for killing the giant Ymir that would shape Midgard out of the corpse.
  • Fenris because it took all the gods to chain the beast, and like Surtur, it is his destiny to be the one to kill Odin.

In Greek Mythology... if we discount abstract personifications (like Thanatos):

  • Typhon, last of Gea's children meant to punish the Olympians for the treatment of the Titans and Cyclops. Was buried under Mount Etna by Zeus.
  • Gaea/Uranos, the two 'original' beings
