He was the lamest hero ever. Its some overweight white guy, who may have been racist or something I don't really remember. But anyway its this fat white guy who turns into a black guy when he says black power. I don't think he even has any powers he is just really athletic, smarter and a lot nicer when he is black.
Than he can only stay transformed for a certain amount of time and he calls it c.p. time (a.k.a colored people time). Come on the fact that they reintroduced this character in a Justice League issue no less makes me severely question the DC editors.

Back in the 70's, the world almost saw a super powered character called the Black Bomber. He was supposed to be a white racist that, in times of stress, turned into an African-American superhero. This was due to chemical camouflage experiments he participated in as a Vietnam soldier. In some of the scripts for this character, he was actually appalled after having risked his life to save some Black people and even made racial slurs. The whole idea of this character was absurd and thankfully, the character never actually saw print. What we got instead was Black Lightning, from the creator of Luke Cage (I think correct me if I am wrong). In Justice League #26 dated Dec, 08 the earth went through that whole alternate reality thing. In that new universe that lasted for half of two issues, a new character appeared called the Brown Bomber. He is apparently a Caucasian that upon shouting the phrase "Black Power!" becomes an African-American (hero?) complete with afro, gold chain, and medallion. He makes a couple of racial remarks and explains that his powers last for only an hour which is similar to Hourmans

As the Spectre is an aspect of God (he represents the Divine Wrath), he had no limits to his power, save following some rules. Nothing more. You name it, he can do it. Use the search option, in "Spectre". His powers are numerous: outlining them all would be impossible and extremely time consuming.

The depiction of Storm's capabilities are inconsistent. It's annoying.

In Marvel, the toughest is Luke Cage all the way. He once survived a mega punch from mindless Hulk and speared through the buildings of NY's skyline head first. That would sure kill any hero but the top dogs (Thor, herc, etc).

@Sidney:One human soul should be binded to the Spectre entity, at a time. If you are asking how many hosts have served as the Spectre in general, those known by name are: Caraka, Jim Corrigan, Azmodel (he isn't human though), Hal Jordan & Crispus Allen. But there have been numerous hosts through the centuries, in general.

i know he is the toughed but in terms of raw power i knoow hes not there
Photon Green Lantern Storm Black Superman-ish dude that I can't remember I think Sync was black to Vixen (Only until she gets her original powers back)

nah i think rage is stronger than luke cage even though he wasnt as big of a character as he was
