Steel And Lex Luthor Now Playable In DC Universe Online

If you're still still one of the people who play DC Universe Online, then we have some good news for you. If you're not, then perhaps this news will get you to try out the game. DC Universe Online recently revealed two new playable characters in the player vs player mode of their game, and we think that it's about time. For a mere $9.99 (or 1,000 Station Cash), you can play as either Lex Luthor or Steel (John Henry Irons). Lex will grace the game donning his classic green and purple brainiac battle suit while Steel will be bringing his massive sledgehammer to the fight. Either way, things should be interesting and these two characters will give players and fans of DC Universe Online the opportunity to play as these really cool, super powerful characters.

According to the source, the two playable characters will also feature special moves. Steel will have some very special, hard hitting moves featuring his hammer called "Hammer Drop," and "Hammerang" while Lex will sport a rocket launcher that will be sure to take down any opponent. This will surely be an interesting addition to the gameplay for fans of DC Universe

This game looks... bad.

i just started playing it dc universe i like so far.

My money on the...Man With the Iron Hammer.

I love Steel as a character. I found him much more interesting as a hero than Superman

I stopped playing after the Replay Badges made it a pay to win game before that I loved the game

Stopped playing this game when they couldn't even patch old content right.

I don't play this game. Steel and Luthor still look cool though...

I got that game for free on PSN. I thought it was pretty boring

i would go back and see what is going on in this game but it is like a 12 hour download.

Exactly why I stopped playing every time I went to play it there was a mega download. So I would play xbox instead!

Both of these characters should be in Injustice. They put the Joker in that game for no other reason than that he's the Joker, so Lex should definitely be in the game.

Game is fun but I dont see why anyone would pay 10$ to use an npc in PvP, in a game that people barely play anymore.

Nice but...eh, still having to pay money for stuff like that ::shrugs:: Dont like the idea of it...

Anyone notice Doctor Fate(behind Steel's left leg), Faust, and a yellow lantern (bottom center) in this picture? It's great news that Steel is in the game, but I'd have a geekgasm if they included Fate and Faust.

Lex Luthor is a Fantastic character. I use him, Felix Faust, Arkillo, and General Zod the most. I'm unbeatable :P i just wish they could come out with Flash-mythos characters. We've already seen the Superman-characters, the Batman-characters, and the Green Lantern Corps... Where the hell is my Flash and his Rogues!!!!

I know right? Why can't we have Gorilla Grodd as a playable character?!

Wow. Id like to play as Steel, if my DCUO WOULD actually WORK. Got that Launchpad glitch 2 months ago and haven't played since.

You can actually play with Fate and Faust in Legends. I think you need to buy the Hand of Fate DLC, though.

@Onemoreposter: The mode where you play as DC superheroes (or Legends PvP to be more exact).

Game is okay, stopped playing it a while back when my girlfriend stopped playing with me. It would be more fun if PvP didn't suck and it wasn't so laggy.
