Starting watching Dragonball for the first time.

I began watching dragonball from the beginning for the first time. I have friends that watched Dragonball Z so all I know about it is from hearing them talk about it. All I knew about it was it takes ages for them to do certain moves and if you collect these balls you get a wish.

So I decided to jump on and see what all the fuss is about. This is what I have learned.

1. Dragonball is no way like Dragonball Z
2. Goku is some sort of monkey monster under a full moon
3. Master Roshi is a dirty old man
4. Master Roshi gets nose bleeds when sexualy aroused
5. There is more to it than just collecting Dragonballs
6. Dead people aren't really dead but they are
7. Wolf Fang Fist will mess you up
8. Kamehameha Wave is bad ass but doesn't always work
9. I have seen Goku and Krillins genitals far too many times

After 88 episodes I am really enjoying it. I find it funny and some of the fights enjoyable. I was told if I like this I will love Dragonball Z. Which I have lined-up for when I finish this.

It's a shame that DB is far superior to DBZ.

And it's hard to say, Dragon Ball evolves to be more like DBZ, but not quite as bad. It eases you into it. Dragon Ball Kai is slightly better than Z (to me) since it cuts out a lot of the stupid power up and extended fight scene filler.

If you go in with that mindset, you will.

Also, @OP, don't watch Dragon Ball Z Kai. Watch the original. Many, many things have been removed or edited out from the original experience.
