I use the crest of Wraith Squadron as my icon (hence the name). With that being said it shouldn't surprise anyone that Wedge Antilles is my favorite character.

Eh, not much of a fan. Their prequels reviews have some great points, but I don't agree with everything they say.

I never really got into Star Wars.

The whole Light Saber idea ruins the story for me.

i. how does it work? if it is made out of light how do you make the light stop at a certain specific distance.

ii, Saber by definition is a curved blade, and the "light saber" is not a blade, and definitely doesn't curve.

iii. Honestly my biggest problem is the colors. It looks way too fruity pebbles inspired.

iv. Have you guys played No More Heroes? The players sword/blade/saber/whatever its called makes sense on how it works.

v.The only thing that made me a fan of the series is the video game The Apprentice(i think it's called.)

That's just me though

Found the reviews boring, honestly. The guy had an irritating voice and just sounded like he was whining.

It generates a field that prevents heat and light escaping.

Fun fact: Despite commonly being blamed George Lucas was actually not at fault for that change. It was actually a move of censorship to allow the films re-releases to keep their low ratings despite the stricter current ratings compared to the time of their original releases.

#23 Posted by Captain_Yesterday (807 posts) - - Show Bio

@Decoy Elite: Hmmm, interesting, never heard that.

However, in this interview, Lucas claimed Greedo had always shot first but was confusing in the original because of close up shots, and he tried to "clean up the confusion."

Of course he's changed his story a few times so who really knows.

#24 Posted by Decoy Elite (29923 posts) - - Show Bio

@Captain_Yesterday: I think currently he's back to "Han shot first" given he's been seen wearing the t-shirt.

Gotta love the previous most rated comment in the board

Wow!!! "jedi don't kill unarmed prisioners." Finally one smart enough to cheat the system.
There you go. You aren't unarmed anymore, bitch
Kills the bad guy and doesn't turn dark. Thumbs up if you liked

You think Vong would appeal to casual fans? I mean I know a lot of "purists" who think the Light v Dark side of the Force concept is the bloodstream of SW. That said, I'd love to see Yuzhan Vong War in the new trilogy. Thoughts on a lot of fans asking for Thrawn trilogy to be the one filmed?

#31 Posted by JediXMan (31313 posts) - - Show Bio

@ssejllenrad:

I think it's a good idea to branch out away from the Jedi vs Sith storyline for a bit. Go back to it maybe, but give the that break.

@JediXMan: They seem to be the main protagonists and antagonists of the story, however. I don't know if that's possible.

#33 Posted by mrdecepticonleader (18731 posts) - - Show Bio

@CaioTrubat:

Yep and what a great and very underrated character he/they are.I am not sure if its A B C or D.It might be B since he took up the job as a bounty hunter.But it could be any of them.

#34 Edited by Inverno (13292 posts) - - Show Bio

@mrdecepticonleader: I agree. He used to scare me a lot as a kid in the Shadows of Empire game during the Ord Mantell level.

While I think Vongs would have been a great idea, there would be riots of people complaining that Light Side vs Dark Side is the core of the series. I would love to see Heir to the Empire adapted, but unfortunately the cast is too old to play the part, since the book is set only 5 years after Return of the Jedi. Then again, there could be a animated movie with only their voice acting, just saying.

It's a new book by Timothy Zahn that's meant to be quite good. Apparently it's Star Wars meets Ocean's Eleven.

As for the new SW trilogy I would just prefer to see it take on a completely new story and leave older and already told stories in the comics as that.I mean this is three new Star Wars films here we are talking about.

This is my plan as soon as they come out in paperback unless I start hearing bad things about them, then I'll prioritize something else.
