Disney chief Alan Horn confirmed that shooting had started for Episode 7 during an interview posted on The Hollywood Reporter, conducted on April 2. UK site Jedi News had posted the news last Friday in a post that was widely questioned throughout the Star Wars fan community, but it was indeed correct. Horn didn’t specify the location of the shoot, or the precise nature of the shoot but the Jedi News post indicated that Cairo in Egypt and Abu Dhabi were the likely locations. It's good to hear that filming for the movie has begun but yet we haven't got any casting news or announcements..I really want to punch Alan Horn in the face please Lucasfilm and Disney give us something! Hopefully on May 4th we'll start to hear some casting.
