*SPOILERS* Man of Steel, Why Are People Upset?

I thought the ending was a great ending. A lot of people would say otherwise because Superman killed General Zod, but he didn't have a choice in the matter. Besides, Superman has been known to kill when there is no other alternative, Doomsday. I mean, if Superman didn't break Zod's neck, Zod would have melted that family. Besides, Superman pleaded with him to stop and when he did it, he dropped to his knees in remorse for what he did. I thought the ending was a very heartfelt ending.
