That wouldn't make sense. Cage has never been stronger than spider-man. The gap was to huge in their first fight but both of them have gotten much stronger since then.

Spider-Man is a fan fav so writers give him big strength feats. If there was a cartoon or movie with the 2 of them then it would be clear that Luke is stronger and that would just be better for team play entertainment
@childoftheatom: In the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon Luke Cage got his arm broken by the Green Goblin.... Then Spidey proceeded to overpower Osborn. So nope. Spidey's stronger.
@childoftheatom: No But Goblin proved it by effortlessly crushing Luke's arm with his hand. Then after that Spidey did the exact same thing to Goblin (this was a somewhat morals off or more serious Spidey at the moment). And in another episode the Lizard is to strong for Luke to hold back, and yet later Spidey overpowers and uses lizard like a rag doll against the Sinister 6. Seriously just because super strength and durability are lukes only power doesn't mean it's better then someone with a similar (and more versatile) power set.
