My casting choices for the operatives of Code: Blue if Sony decided to make this film.

Cast:

  • Denzel Washington: Lt. Marcus Stone: The commanding officer of the team.
  • Hayden Christensen: "Mad Dog" Rassitano: The heavy weapon specialist of the team.
  • Ray Stevenson: "Mother" Majowski: The logistic support of the team.
  • Joseph Gordon-Levitt: Andrew "Jock" Jackson: The combat specialist of the team.
  • Ron Perlman: "Fireworks": The demolitions expert of the team.
  • Tamina Snuka: Margarita "Rigger" Ruiz: The army member of the team.
  1. Amazing Spider-Man's Code: Blue: If there's something weird in your neighborhood, who you gonna call? No, not those other guys (what're their names anyhow?). Yeah, that's right; Code: Blue - the police special forces unit founded by the American government agency S.A.F.E. and specially equipped with the means to subdue superhuman threats. It would be the first film to feature a police unit actually emerging triumphant in a bout with a supervillain.
  2. Code: Blue: A New York SWAT team specifically trained to deal with superhuman threats. Its activities are funded by S.A.F.E. The inclusion of this team would represent the public's reaction to the presence of Spider-Man and other superhumans and the measures taken to deal with the threats New York faces in the future. In addition, Code: Blue has been featured in various Spider-Man titles (Amazing Spider-Girl, Cloak & Dagger, Deadly Foes of Spider-Man, Silver Sable, Spider-Man Unlimited, Web of Spider-Man Annual). The team structure and the movie's style could draw inspiration from the Ghostbusters in the sense that they both deal with unnatural threats.

Code blue? From the Ghost Rider comics? Sony doesn't have the rights to them anymore.

@avenging_x_bolt:

Actually, they first appeared in Thor, not Ghost Rider. And they have appeared in various Spider-Man titles before. The thing is, given that they're a police special forces unit that targets supervillains (specifically super-powered ones), it would be more logical for them to appear in the ASM universe considering that there is more street-based crime there than in Marvel Studios's universe. But no, I'm not sure if Sony has the rights. I'm just making suggestions.
