Something that always bugged me about batman

If he is so smart, why doesn't he make a suit or device to give him superpowers? Cause he certainly has the resources and ability to do so. Well, in the real world people will think they are copying iron man but in their universe it makes sense to me. I mean he could just make a better insider suit or something.

Because then that would go against him being a 'normal' human, which is what his whole character revolves around. I use the term normal very, very, very loosely.

It's already been established that super powers make Batman go batty.

He doesn't do things like that, we because Batman is not about letting the gadgets and technology do everything for him. If he started to let machines do everything instead of skill, he would simply be Iron Man with a nasty attitude.

He made that invisibility suit that somehow blocks Superman from finding him but he doesn't use it for some reason.

he has suits that give him special abilities. But he still uses his own human strength.

He's been shown to do that quite a bit. He just only whips them out when he needs them. He doesn't need them to fight crime on a normal night in Gotham.

Because then Batgod would become a bigger thing and I wouldn't want to read Batman comics where the only reason he wins is because of the suits. That's why I'm enjoying the current series by Synder.

He has. Insider suit, a suit made to hide him from superman, and he made a suit made for actual legitimate war on a battlefield too. He just prefers to not use them and he would be too powerful if he did.

Once you start questioning the absence of common sense in comic books, you'll start not enjoying them as much. It's hard enough trying to identify with Batman as it is without him going super-powery on us.

I hear the same complaints from the same haters every day.
