I mean really lol, it seems that DC/Marvel has turned pretty much anyone/anything into a superhero/super villain or comic character....who or what haven't they touched? I mean I have seen gods to animals being turned into heroes/villains, so like...where does it end!? Not saying its a bad thing but...wow lol!
So who/what hasn't DC/Marvel touched??
Have they turned inanimate objects into superheroes yet?
ooooh....wait. Groot.
As soon as we get a superhero that's like a kitchen toaster, then I haven't seen everything yet.

Are trees really inanimate objects though? They sway with the wind, they grow, they breath, they drink, they live.
@Nova`Prime`: That is a good question. But for the purpose of comic books, I'll say no. They live, but they do still fill in the background, like things in a bedroom. They also don't have sentience. They can't think or feel emotionally. Trees do what they do only to live.

@Twentyfive: Super Toaster! Able to launch toast at its enemies, burning their faces and bodies! After a freak accident in the kitchen when a lighting bolt struck the house and the power went out! Also...the toast wouldn't be buttered!
not a toaster but close enough

That sounds a lot like me :)
@Twentyfive: Like inanimate objects that have been given life through Zoan class devil fruits like Funkfreed?
@Nova`Prime`: You mean enough to make them animate objects? Probably, but I still think not. Trees are not aware like animals... or even some robots.
@GundamHeavyarms: That sounds like One Piece stuff. I haven't watched that in years. What is Funkfreed? He sounds like a background thing brought to life, so yes, like that lol.
@Twentyfive: Yes its One Piece stuff (I can't help it, I love that show) Funkfreed is Spandam's sword that "ate" the elephant elephant fruit and became a sword-elephant (not an elephant-sword)
Who says plants don't "feel"? If I am looking at you from outside I can just as easily say you don't feel either. If an object tires to go toward that which nourishes it and away from that which harms it, then it's alive. Your guess as to it's feelings are not important. Robots? You're thinking of Robots you've seen in movies becuase robots only say they "feel" what they are programmed to say they feel. Robots as they exist now can't be considered life forms.
@GundamHeavyarms: Lol. That sounds hilarious. Knowing that show, the sword has a weird sense of humor too.
It's all been done in some shape or form either off panel by hint or in hidden message . A real example of a great artist or writer is one who has the ability to be vague enough that the person seeing the art or reading the story can connect what they see to many different things but still have a very direct and readable story .
