I love Captain America too! Not because of his super soldier abilities and all that but rather for what he stands for.
So I just fell in love with Captain America...
@binski: absolutely love it! It's really gotten me to like cap
captain america has been a hit an miss for me most of the time, i liked him in the movies, but in the comics he comes off as a giant douche when he is supposed to be patriotic, while not as worse as iron man he watced like an idiot in Civil War too. and AvX he was an arse. His argument was basically " GUYS GIVE US HOPE BECAUSE WE SAY SO, NOT SHUT UP AND DO WHAT I SAY!" , how is he patriotic or inspiring?
@wolverine08: I was making a funny
@sog7dc: woah woah dont go there. NYG for life man.
Cap doesn't exactly stay on long on that title though. I mean I liked his departure and thought it was executed well from a storytelling perspective, but the character isn't exactly portrayed in the most flattering light there. ;)
Still a good book and highly-recommended though.
@veshark: I know, but I just didn't really want to give it away is all. But yeah, his departure was pretty well done. I don't see how it was an unflattering light though, he was the only one that was against the destruction of a universe. I thought he came off as the most heroic, albeit the situation called for someone less morally stubborn.

Not really that it was unflattering, but just that given the OP is a new Cap fan, something where Cap kicks ass might be a better introductory read.
But yeah, I thought it was definitely a good way to remove Cap from the group because let's face it, he was never really one of them. But it was a sound decision because Cap really came across as the sacrificial lamb - he refused to compromise his morals and still believed there was hope, and it showed the extents to which the others would go. It really set the high stakes tone of the title, seeing our heroes go to such extreme lengths to defeat such an overwhelming threat.
Better watch out, he's a "wham, bam, thank ya ma'am" type, he'll love ya and leave ya. Tread Lightly
No, that's Ultimate cap. He looks the same but he's completely different.
@wolverine08: This picture is awesome.
Yes it is. Where is it from?
This artist. He's pretty good.
@binski: yup. I love it except for the last issue
@lykopis: Thanks!
