So, Avengers: Age of Ultron...

I've just realised...

So at the end of Iron Man 3, Tony hangs up the Iron Man suits.

According to the comic-con trailer for Thor: The Dark World, Thor literally has his hand cut off by Loki

and according to recent rumours/spoilers for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Cap stops being Captain America at the end of the movie...

So basically by the beginning of Avengers: Age of Ultron, everyone will be [frick]ed up (or at least nobody's)? Although this is great for character development, I think this is a little too much on Marvel's part... Thoughts?

Actually I heard that Mjolnir is going to become his new hand. Odin is going to fuse it to Thor's stump.

I bet since all this happens, the avengers are offically gone until the Government creates Ulron in their absence and obviously that goes bad forcing them t come back. I would love to see a Bucky Cap in next avengers instead of Rogers and thor's hand will come back by magic and iron man will have some stupid backup suits he never told anyone about

The part with Thor seen almost losing his hand is part of the Comic-Con excusive trailer. I'm pretty sure it's somewhere online still/though, I viewed one last week.

i prefer a robotic hand, so that Ultron manipulates him and turns him against the Avengers

I already hate that Tony took the arc reactor out of the chest, I hate the idea of Thor losing his hand and Cap hanging up the suit is probably just in the film for the dramatic aspect.

Tony can easily build new armor - if Avengers: Age of Ultron is supposed to be about him BUILDING Ultron then who's to say he won't be building his own armor? Thor will probably leave Asgard and instead be on earth at the end of Thor: The Dark World and if he loses his hand he'll probably have a metal replacement and lastly, Cap can easily come back as Captain America... I actually kind of hoped that Cap would be the one to seek out the Avengers again and bring everyone back together.

I would hate if half of Avengers: Age of Ultron is just the characters not wanting to be super heroes anymore. Only to come back at the end of the movie saying something stupid like, "You think I'd miss this party?"

I hope this isn't true. Cap stopping being Captain America I guess is alright, but it sounds like a rip off of the Nolan Batman trilogy. And Thor loosing his hand to have it replaced by mjolnir is just an atrocious idea.

Cap retiring is stupid. Stark retiring is stupid, and Thor getting his hand cut off is stupid.
