Says it all in the title, looking for some books that maybe focus on the villains that aren't one dimensional or books that just have a similar off beat tone to them. Any recommendations?

The earlier issues of Fraction and Aja's Hawkeye (to some degree, though not quite as much). The three issues of Suicide Squad written by Ales Kot (#20-22); not much, but it's something. And I second the Secret Six recommendation, probably the closest to Superior Foes.

Thanks for the recommendations, was thinking of picking up hawkeye as it looked to have the same tone to it. Definitely give Secret Avengers and Secret Six a go. Already read a bit of Hitman and that's great, thanks so much for the replies.

What Secret Six series do you mean? Seen on comixology that there's the series both by Gail Simone, one from 2006 which only has 6 issues and a longer running one from 2008-11.

Give Jeff Parker's Thunderbolts run a try. Boomerang is featured pretty heavily. And Shocker to a lesser degree. If your looking for a good villain book I'm always telling people to try John Ostrander's Suicide Squad. Highly underrated series.

@fredcdobbs: Thunderbolts is where I really grew an appreciation for Boomerang. Mach VII, Fred's parole officer is also a member.

The ongoing is a continuation of the mini.

Nextwave. That's the only book you need. It's one of the funniest things that I've ever read/seen and one of the best works of Warren Ellis. The book is better than the Superior Foes and it doesn't even try to be that good but it is.
