Arrow has already been renewed for season two and that made me think: should we see a superpowered heroe making a cameo in the show?

Not Superman, more like Wonder Woman or Aquaman. Someone that don't need to be a mountain lifter but is clearly beyond what a human can be.

Arrow goes for the realistic, grounded approach like The Dark Knight trilogy, but yet, Man of Steel is trying to do the same thing but with Superman. So my answer to this question is yes, Arrow should try to add in a episode or two an super-superhero and still try to maintain the tone of the show.

What do you guys think?

Initially they could have done it. However now it would seem wrong to add a supe when they have gone to the express trouble of making a series without one.

Nah, they'd make Oliver look too weak.

I'm not one of those people that's hung up on things being realistic so it doesn't bother me either way.

The show is good. That's all that matters.

Depends on what you mean by powered. Minor powers and enhanced/superhuman statistics are fine by me, but I wouldn't want someone like Aquaman or Superman popping into the show.

I mean someone who clearly has super human capabilities. For example, WW doesn't need to be as strong as superman if she was to appear, just much stronger and faster than a normal human. Like able to lift cars and break concrete walls with punches, but not able to lift ships or bigger stuff.

I would keep an episode on my DVR forever if it featured Wonder Woman beating the holy hell out of Thea.

I wouldn't object to Vic Sage showing up at Oliver's hideout, revealing he'd figured out Arrow's identity and demanding his help with the conspiracy in the city.

Pretty much any non-superpowered hero could pop up and I'd be fine with it. Granted, it'd have to be a hero who doesn't object to killing, because Arrow has killed people.

@judasnixon: But you can't convince me that seeing someone with Super Strength punching Thea in the mouth wouldn't be a treasured piece of TV history

i feel that arrow is based on mike grell's work which had no super hero interaction, it was oliver and dinah (no sonics) beating up on bad guys in seattle and olvier doing covert op missions around the world. it even had eddie fyres (European scumbag in arrow), pick it up and you will see how the show is kind of a updated take on it.

No as much as I like supes I'd keep it grounded and only have street levelers without powers. Hopefully nightwing and batgril come around. Also have laurel become black canary but not have canary cry.

Arrow would look better with no super powers same as the Mike Grell Green Arrow. In the golden age and silver age, Black Canary did not have super powers and relied on gadgets same as Batman. Black Canary sonic cry started in the bronze age when she switched from earth 2 to earth 1, and the JLA moved to the satellite headquarters.

I'm thinking that a more "grounded" Outsiders team could appear.

If the story justifes a super powered villian or heroe then yes there should be but don't just write in wonder women to get my people to watch it
