With his penchant for writing darker, more brooding tales, I don't really think Scott Snyder would be well-suited to writing Justice League. I mean, sure, he is a great writer and so whatever stories he wrote would still be good, but I just think his overall heart/style is better suited to characters like Batman, Constantine, and maybe even Wonder Woman. That's not at all a knock against the man. You should play to your strengths, and I think he does. But the overall tone of JL... at least, the overall tone that Ithink JL should have... is more grandiose and adventurous, and so it wouldn't greatly play to Snyder's strengths as a writer. Just my opinion. Then again, by no means have I read all of Snyder's work, so maybe I don't have all the facts. I'm simply going by what he is best known for - stuff like Batman, Swamp Thing, American Vampire, etc..

@humanrocket: I really don't understand the rave reviews from critics. Even excluding the fight with the JL, the Joker stuff at the end of 36 was just awful.

I'd prefer to keep comic writers in a guidance/reference type of role. Give the actual script work to accomplished screenwriters like Brad Bird or Ben Affleck

Keep him. Maybe he'll do a better job on her than he did on Supes. Although expect Batman to show up a lot
