Do you want Robin to show up in the new cinematic universe?
We all know the new Batman movie is inevitable, so do you want Robin in it?
Should Robin appear in Batman vs Superman?
Which Robin (Tim, Dick, Damian...)?
Who should play him?
Yes because he desperately needs a proper theatrical interpretation, if not only to prove that Robin is not lame. Also there is probably an entire generation that thinks Robin is just the leader of Teen Titans and has no connection to Batman at all. Besides, it would at least make the next set of Batmovies stand out from the Nolan films. I'd want Dick because its just blasphemous to use anyone but the original to start off. I do not think he should appear in the Batman\Superman movie because its already too cluttered but they could allude to Bruce going to a circus and then start the next Bat-film focusing on Robin's origins, how it parallels Batman's origins, and address why Batman would have a child sidekick. As for actors, all I request is that they actually get a kid to be Robin...
I say yes, only make Dick around 17 instead of 12. Then only allow him to be Robin for maybe 2 years before deciding to go on his own path and become Nightwing.
I really hope not. They said they are having nightwing though not robin so we should be OK. But having robin with batman sounds like a horrible idea in live action. I do not want to see some kid running around with batman
Since Robin wasn't in Dark Knight Rises really being Robin, I imagine they will put him in the movies, hopefully with a good costume

Yes.
Not in the first movie, as I'd like to see them establish this Batman first, but I wouldn't mind Robin popping up in the second movie.
No, let the movie focus on Batman and Superman, no need to squeeze another random character in there simply as fan service.
Dick Grayson should be the first Robin and he should stay Robin for a while. I don't want to see him become Nightwing after one or two movies.
No idea.
Love the idea of Nightwing being established going in, and finding out about him via flashbacks or dialogue. Introducing Jason and Death in the Family would be interesting for the big screen.
Since Batman is already going to be defined in the DCCU, I'd rather there be at least a Nightwing and have them make reference that he used to be Robin. If there need be a Robin then have it be Drake. The last thing we need is another Batman origin movie whenever Batfleck gets his solos.
Given Batman's age, it should be Damian. I know people will complain about Robin and what not but there is just to much potential for characters like Nightwing or Red Hood to not at the very least introduce the concept. Hopefully it would be the Nww 52 versions of them joining at around 16 so it makes more sense.
Nightwing should be his own hero
Jason should be dead
Tim will be Robin.
I would love an under the red hood movie
If Dick shows up as Nightwing I wouldn't mind Jason Todd coming in as the new Robin, if only to set up a Red Hood movie. I liked the elements of that storyline as it really pointed out how screwed up the Joker is, and questioned Batman's morality in not killing the Joker to avenge his "son".
Probably wishful thinking though. You'd need a movie for Jason Todd becoming Robin, a movie for him dying since it'd be too quick if he dies in the movie he's introduced in, and then a movie for the Red Hood storyline. You'd also need a way of explaining Todd's resurrection, so probably introduce Ra's at some point, since he's a convenient villain to fit into the whole resurrection concept. That's a lot of investment for a side character like a Robin, and I'm sure they'll want to focus more on Batman and not on his sidekick.
Yes, the robin concept is important to Batman's character (I'll write about that when my computer is fixed). But he should have cinematic redemption and is probably more famous than any of the Avengers (well before them anyway.) Dick Grayson's Robin is 75 in 2015, so hopefully before then and now DC/WB find a place for him to redeemed in the general public's eyes with a film or something that makes people forget Batman and Robin.
Of course they do(all of them)
And whether or not you think they do or don't is irrelevant
They're going to be in it either way, and Dick and Damian are already confirmed in Son of Batman
I think Robin should be introduced, but not anytime soon. I think that a Teen Titans movie would do very well. Dick or Tim as Robin... I don't care.

Nobody has any actor in mind?!?

That's the DC animated universe, not the cinematic one. There's a difference.
@arturocalakayvee: ah, my bad. I do know the difference. But when I read the title I automatically thought of the animated movies
honest mistake really
I still think they should all show up though. If done correctly of course.

I googled some of the suggestions I like:
Nightwing:
Redhood:
Jensen Ackles
Red Robin/ Tim Drake:
Josh Hutcherson
Stephanie Brown/Spoiler/Robin:
Chloe Moretz
Yes. It has to be Dick Grayson and they should Young Justice as a basis for how to bring the character to live action.
Yes. I would want Tim Drake to be Robin with an already established Dick Grayson as Nightwing, explaining that he was the first Robin at one point.
Jensen Ackles as Jason is very good if not only to gain viewers, as Jensen has gained a rabid fan following thanks to Supernatural. Hutcherson has that from the Hunger Games, but to a lesser degree.
Yes and I should play dick, despite my complete lack of acting experience, physical resemblance, or martial arts/acrobatic skills, I hold a deep love of the character and understand his characterization/personality.
If I just trained for like 5 years, got about 5 inches shorter, and took 5 years of acting classes I could most certainly pull it off
Nightwing should be his own hero
Jason should be dead
Tim will be Robin.

Jensen already voiced him in the animated movie, and I think he would be a great Redhood in live action. Hutcherson would be fine with Tim Drake I am sure. and they both have their share of rabid fans lol
@allstarsuperman: Dont know about the rest but Sean faris would be a great Nightwing

He is my top pick as well.
I'd like Dick to already be Nightwing by the time of Superman vs Batman. This Batman is already in his 40's and has at least a decade of crime fighting experience and a rich history.
If they bring in a Robin-proper, it should be Damien. Yes, I would omit Jason and Tim from this universe. One former sidekick is okay, three is a little absurd. What works in comics, sometimes seems cheesy in a film universe.
But why Damien? Damien has the closest connection with Batman and his history makes the most sense for Batman to make him Robin (giving him an outlet for his agression and using his skills for good) and his origin story is the most dramatic and the most cinematic.
Definitely no ! Not because i dont like Robin, i always liked Dick and Tim but the problem is, whenever you throw in a Robin into a Batman movie, it means you cant make solo Batman movies anymore..lets say the 2nd Batman solo movie has Robin, then 3rd one has to have too; unless u make Dick as Robin and make him leave as Nightwing in 3rd movie, which would be a bit idiot, introducing a Robin in 2nd movie just to make him say bye in the next movie.....i explained my reasoning in a bull**it writing way but u get my point, instead of having just a 1-2 Batman & Robin movie, better we dont have any at all...
Nightwing should be his own hero
Jason should be dead
Tim will be Robin.
I would love an under the red hood movie

Absolutely. Though I think Affleck's Batman should be solidly established first before they introduce a Robin. I know I'm in the minority here, but I think Damian Wayne - he always made the most sense to me as a Robin - should be introduced first with Nightwing and Red Robin already off doing their own thing - Jason Todd could be revealed later as the dirty family secret, maybe in the third movie.
I'm not really good with castings, though. That would be how I'd do it anyway.
