If a JL Dark movie is in the works, would you want it to be connected too the universe set up by Man of Steel?
Should JL Dark be connected too the MOS Universe?
Yes, if WB want's to compete with Marvel, then they need an edge, and since Marvel has taken magic away, this can be how they get a new fanbase. Plus, unlike Marvel magic is very very important to DC.
Sure hope so. A good JLD movie could be DC's answer to GOTG.
I think having everything connected like the MCU can increase total immersion and enjoyment overall. Since Supes is weak to magic in comics, it wouldn't hurt to add magic into the universe. I mean WW will probably have her own type of magic anyway, such as her lasso and bracelets.
Make sense. By the time a JL Dark movie gets set in motion "Justice League" would presumably be a strong brand name to help sell it and make it seem more connected to a cinematic universe, anyways.
It also opens a ton of doors for WB by introducing the JLD and establishing the presence of magic in their universe.
I hope so, Del Toro style is stronger that Snyder, it could actually counter and make the universe more diverse.
I hope it is. Though, from del Toro's statements, it might not be.
In July 2014, del Toro once again stated he was working on the film, and stated it would be independent from the universe established with Man of Steel, saying, "DC and Warners have been very clear that they are trying to keep [this film and Sandman] separate so when the time comes they can unite them, once they know they’re quantifiable." He also added that his Constantine would not adhere to any continuity established in the television series.
@the_stegman: One interesting thing I noted is that WB have no problem having both a film and a series version of a character, so Flash isn't off the books (along with Green Arrow, Atom, Suicide Squad, Deathstroke etc).
