So, as some people may know I've been wanting to start picking up an Indie comic for awhile now. It's just the deciding what to choose that's been the problem since I can only afford one more 3.99 comic every month.

Anyway, I've seen it get some great reviews from the staff and I'm pretty sure I want to try out Black Bat after all this villain's month stuff is over and I have money again.

So, what do think of the series and should I start picking it up?

Oh, and if you'd be able to tell me when I good starting point for a new reader is I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for reading. :)

I read Black Bat and I like it a lot. I think it suppose to only have 6 issues. The last issue being in October. I say if you can get issue1 give it a try. The first issue came out in May.

@catsnlynne: Oh, okay. It's no big deal. Do you know when a good jumping on point would be?

@battle_forum_junkie:

I really think you should start with issue 1. Unless you want to wait and see if there is an issue released in November and start there. Sorry I can't be more of a help.

@catsnlynne: Don't be. Thanks for the help, I'll check my comic shop in November since I don't think they still have issue #1.

@allstarsuperman: No, but I plan to buy the first Quantum and Woody trade when it comes out. It looks hilarious. Valiant's website says it's only going to be $10.

@battle_forum_junkie: oh thats weird. i find that it looks very uninteresting. i havent tried it or Archer and Armstrong yet. ive tried Harbinger, XO Manowar, Shadowman, and im gonna try Eternal Warrior and Bloodshot. i say see if you can pick up XO Manowar 15 and 16 its really good. This week was the first Eternal Warrior and A new arc starts for Bloodshot next week.

@allstarsuperman: That's funny because I didn't find Archer and Armstrong very interesting. :P

Thanks for the recommends, though. I was already thinking of trying out Bloodshot, but Eternal Warrior sounds worth a look.
