@rouflex: I've heard great things about X-O Manowar, but I can't vouch for it personally.
I have read Hellboy, though, and I can say it's a great read.

@rouflex: Sorry I couldn't help you, man.

Dont worry.
@rouflex: I think what BFJ is saying is that no matter what you decide about X-O Manowar you should definitely read Hellboy either way. Mignola is one of the best writers in comics and does a wonderful job mixing real history into his stories about Hellboy and the rest of the B.P.R.D team.
What is your favorite Arc in the Hellboy serie?
@rouflex: Tough to say. I might go with The Island. Even though it was only a couple issues they were great. I just recently made a thread about a straight to Hardcover book that just came out called Hellboy: The Midnight Circus.

Have you ever read X-o manowar?If the answer is yes what is your favorite Arc.
I'm a big fan of what they have done with X-O Manowar. The series has been good the whole way through and it is about to make a big impact in the Valiant Universe with the Unity series that is launching tomorrow. He is a brash warrior who is displaced in time and now controls one of the most powerful weapons in the Universe.
The one thing that I really enjoy about the X-O, and Valiant in general, is that it is a young Universe so everything they are telling so far is still one grand story that continues to build on itself. It isn't like some of the established franchises that have a 4 issue conflict that is wrapped up nicely and then another and another, etc. etc. I think the New52 and Marvel Now have done a good job of moving towards this as well though recently.
Sadly, I have not read any Hellboy yet. I have always had plans to read, but have not had a chance to get involved in his universe.
