Do you want to see Cap wield Mjolnir in the next avengers or anyone else for that matter
Should Cap. America or anyone else wield Mjolnir ?
Beast once held onto it and Thor threw it, so it looked liked Beast was wielding it.
I know that doesn't count, but I felt I should mention it for some reason.

Hulk once grabbed it while Thor was holding it and smashed his face in. Does that count? :p
No I don't think so. Once and a blue moon when someone tries to lift it is fine, but it becomes dull. It (looked like it) happened in Indestructible Hulk recently which was a cool nerd moment and got some Thor fans all pissy which was funny but let's not overdo it. How about try it again in, say, 10 years... It's just really not that interesting of a concept anymore.
@dernman: I wouldn't have thought that was possible. Did he definitely grab it, or could he have grabbed Thors' hand?
@dernman: O.K. then. So other people can move it if Thors' holding it, but not just on their own?

Unless they're worthy and whoever that might be is usually on the whims of the writers.
The only time someone should wield it, is if the hammer is in desperate need of someone to use it, and Thor isn't available (that person also must be worth, obviously). The idea that anyone along the lines of Cap can wield it defeats the purpose of it being Thors hammer.
@dernman: Probably just whoever the writers favourite character is then. :P
@i_like_swords Didn't Captain America pick it up when Thor was unavailable, having been killed? I may be remembering wrong.
@v_scarlotte_rose: I couldn't tell you, but I wouldn't see that scenario as far-fetched.
@i_like_swords: Found it, it was in Fear itself #7:
@v_scarlotte_rose: That's exactly the kind of panel where I'd find it acceptable for Cap to have the hammer! Anything else, no.
@i_like_swords: Yeah, that seems about right.
