I hate it when writers portray Shazam/Captain Marvel as childish, or stupid.

One of his key powers is supposed to be wisdom.

It can't just be me who feels this way!

Great topic, I've often wondered the same thing, the power of wisdom would make the character undefeatable, he'd know how to defeat everyone legitimately, without it being here say, like some characters are widely being broadcasted ,as undefeatable.

I agree.

The writers of the character either don't know how to demonstrate The Big Red Cheese's wisdom and intellect or there is an editorial mandate against showing it.

would the fact that he is a kid offset that power a little bit. He has a lot of insight when he chooses to but he is still a child.
