Rise of the Seven Seas will be part of the JL. Johns has confirmed that.

As for Shazam. The only hint Johns gave is tha if people wanted to know what he was up to they should ask Gary Frank. And to be honest that could also mean Batman vol. 3.

If he dropped Superman to write another series, I will be so pissed of at him. He supposedly dropped it due to time. And that I could forgive. Dropping it just to pursue another title is something I can't though.

Holy molly.. I'm so happy for the real and only Captain Marvel.

Always good to hear more Aquaman news. Looking forward to see what occurs.

I wish I could say "Hell Yeah!" but I don't think we're going to get the real Captain Marvel in this series

@vinomonster: Normally I'd agree, but not after Curse of Shazam, or after seeing his characterization in Justice League, he's hitting all the wrong notes (although he does have some good ideas)

Well its about time they gave Captain Marvel an ongoing. I've only been waiting two years to see what Mr. Mind and Sivana are doing. I can actually root for those two now.

Also I have been wondering about Mary, "Freddy", and the other Marvels are doing. They're powerful enough to be noticed anyways.

As for Gary Frank I'm not really a fan of his work on Captain Marvel, I don't feel it fits the character/tone (that's just me)

The mere mention of the Rise of the Seven Seas is the best comic news I had all week alongside the Momoa pic (preferably the one without the filters) and the fact that Grant Morrison is actually releasing Multiversity moth after month (still can't believe this amazing book is being published, even after 7 issues - DC please don't F@ck with Morisson's cosmology, OK? he made the multiverse as understandable as it's gonna be in one single issue, don't mess it up like Countdown did).

I don't care what the second Aquaman book might be (it could be about Murk and Tula for all I care), but confirmation for Rise of the Seven Seas put's me in a Throne of Atlantis mood, and that was one of Aquaman's greatest comic book arcs ever.

Bring it on Johns, Aquaman fans are ready.

And yay for Shazam.

I'll have to at least try out Shazam. I must admit, I've been wanting to see this happen for a while now. Hopefully it will be as good as Thunderworld was.
