I'm pretty sure he's raring up for another one with his j. scott campbell submission.

Haha.
I take precautions while submitting so that I don't lose my progress.
I figured everybody would "appreciate" some nice Hughes, Dodson, and Campbell work.
Although, Hughes has the most by a pretty large margin.

So many boobs. I cant take it. Yes I can.
You could accept my Campbell submission for more.
XD
Copyright infringement? I don't really see how any of the Adam Hughes submissions are any different than putting up comic covers, or small scans. Artists typically put these things out there just for promotional purposes.
asxz says:
"Er... is anyone here bothered by the obvious copyright infringement going on here?I would be very wary about hosting images that clearly belong to someone else. What precautions are you taking to avoid being sued out of existence?"
If a publisher doesn't want us to promote their work, we'd take it down. Generally images are fine.
You can't scan and post every page of a comic. That is the sort of thing that would be bad.

We only host low rez images of artwork. Nothing exceeds 400 pixels. Also, we try not to allow full panels of artwork from comics themselves. We also check text content to see if it's been taken from wikipedia or marvel. If you see something on the site where that isn't the case, please change it and let me know.
As to the covers and artwork, there is definitely precedence in the industry and in the entertainment industry in general. The same practice goes on with both movie posters, album covers and dvd covers. We've run sites like this before in those areas, but really no one has done anything in comics to this scale so it's hard to judge.
All that said, we are merely trying to celebrate comics. The goal of this site is to promote the medium and get more people into comic stores. To me, that mean's being authoritative and complete in as many ways possible so that comics aren't such a confusing mess. I believe comic publishers and creators support that goal and the feedback we've recieved so far from them has been extremely positive. Also, remember content can be deleted quite easily.
Now is there a best practice for image galleries that we think we should set together as a community? I'd love to hear some ideas on it. I think you guys have just as much of a say in it as us.
So let me get this straight...this Hughes guy...he can effectively DRAW HIS OWN PORN??
Man, Wonder Woman...just...man...
I've been missing out by focusing on Marvel...
Honestly, I don't give two shits if Greg Land traces or whatever. His work is really nice looking, so I don't care.
I can't stress enough how great his work and Millar's was on Ultimate Fantastic Four.
...I agree, except for Johnny Storm having blonde jerry-curls.
I mean, seriously...slap a Greatest American Hero costume on him, and it's done.
"Believe it or not, I'm walking on air..."
