Sorry to hear it, good luck!
Sara Lima Says Goodbye
no more pretty lady on comicvine...... sad face
Yoooooooooou Rooooooooooooooooock! Wish nothing but the best......... Hope you don't get all weepy reading all those comments......
I loved reading your articles, Ill miss you on comicvine but I will keep up with you on your new website. Hope you succeed in your new direction.
and yet no old school Catwoman pics *sigh* Going to Miss ya Babs, you and G-man made a awesome team and were the face of Comicvine!
G-Man!
After hearing about Sara's departure I was sad to see her go, but I think its time for someone who Loves comicvine to let you know that I have slowly stopped visiting the site throughout the past few months. Now I know what your going to think "great another complaining person" but hear me out. I've been a bigfan of the site and it has showed me sooo much about comics an made me appreciate them again. Heck, my friends are sick and tired of hearing me advertise your site to anyone that mentions comics. I don't know how you guys decide how things go in the office/Site but could you guys try to go back to how you guys were 3 years ago?
Things that I Miss!
-Bring back the Quests!!!!!!! they made people discover and brought users together in times of panic/anger.
-Bring back video vlogs where you guys sit down and talk about comics, tv shows, etc. (Maybe do a video review of the figures, comics, etc. a person is more appealing than a article...the pod casts are good but I enjoy watching people interact vs listening)
-Bring in another girl who is attractive (i'm not saying bring in some model who knows nothing about comics just someone who is attractive to the audience) (Im NOT saying sara isnt attractive im saying bring in someone just As attractive as she is!)
-Bring back "user of the month" (i was always wondering what i had to do to get noticed on Comicvine...you have NO idea how hard i worked on editing unknown character pages)
-Do some contests (they don't have to be big prizes, like do it where the winner gets an interview on skype/ a few questions to introduce themselves via PM...or something corny like that)
-Have more voting Polls about anything and everything (i've noticed it dosen't matter what it is people will vote and comment which will bring back some connection between the users)
-Feature some unknown character page to get users to discover other things besides DC/Marvel
-Ask fans to submit some reviews, play out their fav scenes in past comics or ask the fans to do dorky stuff on Youtube! (Use youtube to your advantage!)
I know, who am i and what do i know about running a site, but when i first got to comicvine by accident i enjoyed the occasional Quests and weekly interviews. I met pretty cool people and like i said enjoyed weekly comicvine news. Lately it seems like less and less activity is going on and you got an entire audience to help contribute beside their fanboy fights. Ask the interns to step their game up and show themselves on Comicvine. But this is just my 2 cents from a fan who wants to be excited to go to comicvine instead of going there every once in awhile and feeling like i'm the only one there.

We do still have Corey and Tony but it wont be the same which you know, is the way it should be afterall as Sara brought something unique to the site that only she could bring. The person who takes over will bring his or her own thing to the site too, change is scary but as much as its scary for us, it has to be 100 times more scary for Sara so lets wish her well and hope she finds her calling.
I still remember it fondly: three years ago I began poking around this awesome website about comic books, even though I had never read any (besides Bone) myself. As I slowly unraveled the great mysteries of the Vine, I noticed one day the staff put up a weekly podcast (I believe at this time there were only a dozen or so entries, if that) and - even though I did not follow comics or listen to any podcasts, I decided to take a chance and click on one. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. You, G-Man, and Red LAMP were my very first introductions into modern comics, and I will never forget it. As I tear up now, I gaze through the mist of vision at the dozens of books I have since collected because of you three (plus James Robinson, of course). You showed me a world unlike any I could ever expect, and when LAMP left I was devastated. Now Sara, you too must go. I remember wandering the 2011 San Diego ComicCon, hoping to catch a mere glimpse of my heroes, you guys. I remember the looks of horror upon my friends' faces when I incessantly told them about this amazing podcast I followed all about comic books. I remember the seemingly endless video games I played all while predominantly listening to you and Tony and so many others bicker and praise various books, writers, artists, events, and food (ironically enough, I could never get that into Giant Bomb's cast). I remember the first comic book I bought because of you guys (New 52 Batman #1) and loving you so much for giving me the opportunity to do so. I remember how you got me interested in Wonder Woman and Batwoman (my new favorite superhero) and I remember being ecstatic every time you or Tony responded to or liked one of my tweets or comments. Honesty time: I was freaking dumped last night and this the only thing that has succeeded at making me shed a tear all week.
So Thank You, Sara 'Babs' Lima, for giving me the best days of my life. Even though you have spent so many years rattling off facts and opinions about superheroes such as Wolverine and Damian Wayne, you are the real hero , and you will be missed dearly.

I met you a couple of years ago and you were super nice! You've done great work over the years and will be missed.
I think I'm gonna miss Sara from CV even more than I already miss Patrick being part of the regular gang at Giant Bomb.
Sad times indeed.
Bye Sara. Sad Panda FTW...

No, her account will be banned upon leaving!!! =P
@babs I'll miss you. I tended to agree with your perspective and taste in books. :(
