How did Avengers vs Ultron & drones get on here? I'm not even sure it should count as a real fight since it was just the Avengers effortlessly taking out drones & saving civilians while Ultron was being annoying and not a threat.

Glad to see Superman vs Zod won at least.

- Avengers vs Ultron´s army should be higher

- Batman vs Bane is overrated as hell

- Avengers vs Chitauri should be higher

The two Avengers vs fodder fights. Surprised they made it as neither are as intense as other fights on here. So glad spidey vs doc ock made it. Surprised bane vs batman is as high as it is

None of The Avengers fights should be here IMHO. The fight scenes aren't the strength of those movies. (Hulk vs Hulkbuster was pretty good.) Batman vs Bane is too high IMHO. Batman vs Ra's in BB was better.

LOL than what is? Not hating on them but the action in general is the best it has going for it. That and the cast's amazing chemistry.

The best part of Avengers 1 was the assemble portion. The final fight was just meh for me. In Ultron, the dynamic between the characters was the best part.

And Supes rains supreme, as he should in terms of fight scenes.

Can't for BvS and then we'll have a new number 1 fight scene

Am I in the Twilight zone or something? When Avengers first came out all people could talk about was how awesome the final fight was. Now they turn their noses up because they where a "fodder army"? Do people forget how many actual comic book fights involve actual fodder armies?

I guess Avengers just got too popular...

Avengers fights IMO shouldn’t be here also what’s so good about Bane murdering stomping Batman all of those are epic moment but not good fight (once again the best fight Blade vs Nomak gets no love ….sigh….. I don’t even like the movie that much but that fight was epic) also spidey vs ock should be higher IMO

the Avengers vs Fodder fights shouldn't even be here. It's not a real fight scene. I'd call it a "clash" or something. + they aren't really intense or thrilling or anything.

Glad Supes took 2 out of top 3.

Next year, Superman will take 3 out of top 3 spots.

Eye has it. :) The interaction between the characters is the best part, particularly Rogers and Stark. Then the humor (over-done as it is at times) The fight scenes, IMHO are pretty anti-climatic.

Next year BvS and MoS take the top 4 or 5 depending on the amount of fight scenes.

Kinda surprised that the Zod one beat the SMallville one, people tend to like that one more. Also kinda hurt that no one thought to tag me T-T

But glad to see after all that, MoS stands supreme in the action category. So many people throwing that fight under the bus just cus they hate the movie but praising the very generic Avengers fights. But as I said on the voting submission page

I'd switch 1 & 2 and take out Avengers vs Chitauri for Hulk vs Abomination and that's about it.

@leatherface003: Tightly executed fight choreography makes for better fight scenes than punching in front of a green screen while suspended by wires does.

Agreed, people in here just love to hate on popular things, and being that this site has more DC fans, they hate on what is the most popular franchise from Marvel.

Go ahead and ask anyone what they thought of the two final battles in both Avengers movies and they are all going to tell they were awesome action scenes.

I know that DC will probably do the same and have a canon fodder for the JL to deal with, but I'm sure Zack Snyder will do it right where Whedon failed. My problem wih the Avengers fight has to do with how lame the fight was. It was more fan service shots and felt like everyone having a good time and not an actual threat. There was a lack of choreography in the fight, it felt like a 10 year old could have done this. The fight between Hulkbuster and Hulk was a major improvement.

Well it all depends. Superman fights have to be CGI. Captain America fights BETTER be practical. But a well executed Superman CGI fight can be considered the best if it's really that good.

It's not just one of the best CBM super powered fights (I think street level fights are their own thing) but it's the best Superman fight we've ever had on the screen. The Smallville fight we got to see combos and actual paragraphed fighting, the Zod Fight was a just full on dog fight. Meant to depict the reality of these two god fighting, while at the same time not entirely being without style.

Suprised Hulk vs Abomination didn't break the top 5 definitely should have. It's a much better fight than Bats vs Bane or Cap vs WS

I think the reason why it worked so well in the first Avengers was mostly because of the novelty factor, that shot of the Avengers together fighting off the Chitauri was magical because we never saw something like that in a movie before. Just because the fodder army works wells in comics does not mean shit, not everything from comics can be successfully adapted to movies.

That's a good point, and I think a good fight scene should be able to stand on it's own, but I think the tone of the movie should also be taken into account. Especially in comparison to a movie like Man of Steel, Both Avengers movies where all about everyone having a good time - ten year-olds included - while Man of Steel was a more serious movie all together.

But I do have very high hopes for the fights in Snyder's up-coming films.

Maybe that's it. People have gotten I understand that not everything from comics can be successfully adapted but I've seen people go so far as to say that the Avengers where bad comic book movies on account of Loki and Ultron using "fodder armies".
