Red Hood and the Outlaws relaunch

If the book were to be relaunched what changes would you like to see ? Me personally i would like to see starfire removed/replaced with a more street level female character.

1) Make it a solo-title, I don't think that Jason Todd reads as well when he is part of a team, personally I believe is done a much better service if the next Red Hood relaunch (which will happen) is a solo title.

1a) If it is still going to be a team-title, I agree with what other people are saying, take Starfire out, she doesn't fit period, in fact, take Roy out. I think that Rose would be a fine addition, I'm sure there are some other darker characters that would fit the book better and are actually outlaws (outcasts =/= outlaws). Also if it is going to still be a team-title, make it a team-title because RHATO reads like 2 people being dragged alongside Jason because DC has nowhere else to put them.

2) Make Jason darker, I'm sorry but Jason meant the most to the DC Universe when he was dead, but he also meant something when he was an anti-villain, as a hero, there is very little to justify his resurrection in the new 52. He doesn't have to be full-on evil, but you have to admit, he means less as a hero and the batfamily already has enough of them.

3) Get rid of this mystic-magical B.S. it just doesn't feel right to see Jason materialize swords out of thin air and chant magic spells. The interstellar settings don't work also.

4) Take it seriously and get a good writer for it, or at the very least get a good artist because there were long periods of time in RHATO where there were neither and it really, really, really sunk the series.

There are also a lot of other nitpicks but these are the major ones. While I don't love Jason Todd as a character, I do think he has some potential when done right but as I've said earlier, RHATO and to an extent Jason's entire new 52 experience hasn't done much to justify him coming back.

I would love for Starfire to have a solo, having it be about Kori traversing the galaxy to free slaves in hopes of saving others from the trauma that she had to face while she was enslaved.

Sadly, I don't know how much a Starfire comic would sell.

It would be nice to have a solo Red Hood series. A series so magnificent that he keeps all his new feats and kills Batman once and for all.

If it wasn't because of the risk of Lobdell continuing to write the book... I would have liked to have seen Raven join, which appeared to have been the idea early on.

Wow, this was a misleading title....Anyway, I was always fond of Nightwing's Outsiders, maybe bring back some of that roster to the Outlaws, Thunder, Metamorpho, Grace, etc.

No you need Starfire. The Outlaws are like a darker Teen Titans, representing the more broken Teens in society that lean on defense mechanisms. Roy is substance abuse, Jason is anger, and Starfire is sexuality.

@captainmarvel4ever: No you don't, Starfire is not a dark character and the Outlaws are not supposed to be a darker Teen Titans, they're supposed to be DC's answer to X-Force but the characters that they have on there (with the exception of Jason) don't fit the tone that the comic is trying to represent. When I read RHATO, Roy and Kori do not come across as any more broken than the rest of the DCU and they haven't been done any favors by being in RHATO. When they do appear "broken" what they really are are just angry, there's no thematic consistency with any of these characters. It's generally never a good idea to create a team where a cosmic-powered character is surrounded by street-level characters because that one cosmic-powered character can pretty much take care of any threat the team faces. So the only way writers would get around this would be to either create plot devices to make the cosmic-powered character unable to contribute or just literally have them stand and do nothing, both cases have happened to Starfire many, many times in RHATO, and don't you think she deserves better?

Personally I like Jason & Roy being friends. Starfire is out of place.

Get rid of the mystical BS
Jason Todd should be more brutal on crime (Punisher style)
Would love to see Arsenal and Killer Croc's relationship to grow and Killer Croc join the team.

Make it the X-Force of DC comics or a least neutral Titans alike team like how Ravagers were to Teen Titans. Or the new Outsiders.

They need to pull Lobdell off of like...Every book he's on. But specially any thing involving Jason.

Add better characters to the team and make it a more of a street leveler type of book.
