Recommended Martian Manhunter titles/series

Hey guys I just recently go into comics and I've always loved Martian Manhunter from the tv show when I was a kid. I was just wondering if you guys could recommend some of his better series or ones that I should read to get caught up on the back story and his past. Thanks a lot guys.

The whole series was 38 issues long. That's just the first trade.

The Ostrander run is pretty much the only solo you have to choose from (there was a more modern one, but I couldn't find it & heard it wasn't good anyway). It was so good that I overlooked the art (some may like, but it wasn't my cup of tea in the slightest).

The Ostrander Run. American Secrets.Brightest Day, Grant Morrison's JLA run. Others Among Us was ok but not spectacular.
