I was searching threw amazon today and quite a few things caught my attention. After saving a ton in favorites, then narrowing them down some I would like to see what other people are enjoying.

Here is my list:

  • Archer & Armstrong
  • Quantum & Woody
  • Star Wars Crimson Empire
  • The Black Beetle
  • Black Bat
  • Brain Boy
  • Tech Jacket
  • Clone
  • Five Ghosts
  • Ghosted
  • Infinite Horizon
  • Lazarus
  • Luther Strode
  • Suicide Risk
  • The Red Wing
  • Thief of Thieves
  • Velvet
  • Who is Jake Ellis
  • Zero

If you want to, list which ones you are reading or have read and enjoyed. Please and Thank You

Quantum and Woody is fun

Brain Boy is actually really good, I would highly recommend it

I've heard great things about Velvet, though I don't personally read it

Of that list, I only read Lazarus and it's awesome. InferiorEgo only says great things about Clone, so I'm trade waiting/binging on that soon. I hear Black Bat is good too, that's written by Brian B. I heard Velvet and Zero are good too from the staff.

@icarusflies:

Thanks, at the moment I am leaning towards Archer and Armstrong over Quantum and Woody, I already have volume 2 for the Eternal Warrior and i am certainly interested in the Sect or whatever. As for Q&W I hear its hilarious, so I may check it out. I just dont know if 2 team up books would kinda feel the same.

As for Brain Boy it caught my eye way back when their was a preview theater for it. and I love RB Silva's art.

Same as you, its just that I need to narrow it down the the very good stuff, lol.

Does Lazarus have a lot of action?

Yeah, it does. Every issue is action packed but its action that matters, and thats the great part. I suggest it, it's a different kind of book, there's nothing superheroy about this book, it's a pallet cleanser from the Supermans and all that. It's grounded.

Velvet........

Do you put dots at the end of your post cause the answer is obvious? or cause you question yourself?

Thanks all those I am sure I want to eventually read, but I am very "iffy" on Red Wing as it sounds very confusing

@allstarsuperman: It requires a little bit of thinking, but it's not too hard to follow.

@catsnlynne: I am think Black Bat from the previews I have seen on here. Do you by chance read Waids Green Hornet? And have you read Green Hornet Year One before?

@strider92: thanks, I am sure Luther Strode is a must, and Lazarus trade is under 7 bucks for 4 issues, so why not? its 7 bucks.

What? What's wrong with Saga?

I got the first issue off Comixology, way way too wacky. A girl shats out a baby, A guy biting an umbilical cord, a guy with a TV face having sex. Not for me.

Cool, it caught my eye cause of the awesome costumes and the more I look into it the more awesome it sounds.

There really is nothing else like Quantum and Woody. It's quite funny and sometimes pushes the boundaries of ethically appropriate.

I'll also highly recommend Lazarus and Velvet. Both have been outstanding. You didn't mention Black Science, but it's been amazing as well.

Eh? "Shats out a baby?" There was nothing particularly abnormal about the birth.

As for the robot sex... yeah it was weird.

Not questioning your opinion, but more the reasons. While it is extremely odd, it has an intriguing atmosphere. Also, if you've read Brian K. Vaughan's other stories (like Y: The Last Man), the sex wouldn't catch you off guard. It's not for everyone.

Those are some nice choices, I think Q&W is a for sure, as well as Lazarus cause its insanely cheap. Meh, on Black Science, looked too wacky.

She didnt literally shat out a baby, but she says "feels like i am shatting" or something to that extent.

really weird...

I planned on read Y last man eventually.

Prepare for quite a bit of sex scenes.

I thought it was kinda overrated, but it was a good story, in the end.

Haven't read most of those, but Quantum & Woody should at least be top 5. Incredibly fun, and genuinely hilarious book. I get excited for every issue, knowing I will get a good laugh every single time. Not a chuckle either. A legitimate laugh.
