galactus could have been be the true cause of the destruction of krypton, but here took kal-el as a herald instead of devouring the planet.

@csimon: hmm, interesting idea you got there, plus it would be awesome to see how the celestial tech would amp herc's power like what Apocalypse did with hulk. or even better apoc could send him as a spy in Olympus, I don't know why he would do that, lol XD, but as I said before, with the right talented writers any catchy title is a possible epic story. 10

actually, it allready happened in the superman cartoon, I know it's not canon but and that they didn't have any trust in him at first, but he mannaged to pull it off, and superman admitted he couldn't have done a better job, that was my favourite episode.
