6.5/10 it was quite entertaining in parts.

@guru_crack: 6/10 Love the character but this series fell flat at parts. Another character that hasn't showed up since being cancelled.

I honestly don't think that I can see a single good thing about this comic which is extremely difficult to say considering that Virgil Hawkins is my favorite comic book character of all time.

New York City. Why is he in New York? Virgil is from Dakota City, which I believe is meant to mirror Detroit. My guess? To mimic Miles Morales since he debuted around the same time. Taking him away from his city emancipated him from all his supporting cast. Terrible idea.

Boring villains. Who the hell were these people? They had nothing to do with what Static is meant to combat. The forced explanation at the end didn't help.

And don't even met me started on the random clones. Where did they come from? Who made them? What?

And worst of all, no Frieda. Virgil and Frieda need to be around each other.
