4.5/10 - I enjoyed it a bit when it first started (with the exception of the first issue) because it was really one of the only Bat-family that was....fun. Scott Lobdell is at his best (compared to his other works) when he's writing in a style similar to the X-Men comics of the 90's and that was the tone of the first few arcs of RHATO, the only problem that I had with it was Starfire was miscast. After the first two arcs and especially after Rocafort, the series really went downhill in terms of quality and the cracks in the foundation really began to show. Tonally the book was all over the place, sometimes it was a mystical fantasy book, other times it was a sci-fi comic (like GOTG) and it would sometimes be a fairly grounded street level book, but after awhile, it did none of those things well. Roy and Starfire were always underdeveloped and treated as sidekicks instead of team members. It didn't matter who DC put on the book, the series never matched the quality of its earlier issues. Now, the series just completely lacks ambition with a really drawn out and uninteresting drug-addiction plot-line. If I had to pick one word to describe RHATO it is 'misguided'.
