Started a daily vote on a particular comic from the New 52 I do hope you take part. Simple thing, give the comic a rating 10 max, 1 lowest. 0.5 does count.

6/10 Enjoyable, Loved the mega-size Annual sad that Geoff had to leave!

8/10. It was a pretty interesting start for hal.

I haven't read much lantern books lately. Johns stuff was pretty damn good while it lasted. I miss Baz.

7.5/10. I wish they'd switch artists though, not a fan of Tan.

coming into the new 52 i was glad they weren't going to change anything and continue off the cliffhanger in green lantern 67.
I was excited to see sinestro back in the corps and ima sucker for stories that try to make villains in a better light only for them to go back to being evil.
(plus i hate Hal Jordan)
and then it kind of turned into a buddy cop thing. and i figured ehh..thye played this throughout blackestnight and Brightest day. but i was ok with it

then it started to veer toward the Third army event...thats when it dipped. did anyone even understand or care for any of the First Lantern stuff?
they very little explained both the backstory and significance of the first lantern. the third army stuff came out of nowhere.
it was just a bad crossover event.

also the fact that none of the titles actually crossed over, made it worse they had their own little stories while this third army thign was haappening and attacking them. they felt self contained and kind of made it feel less liek a crossover epic and more like the court of owls event but less epic..way less epic.

I couldn't believe Geoff Johns the guy who revived the series went out sub par like that. and was kind of glad he left the series. but then liek a toutally D-bag he wrote endings for all the green lantern characters...WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS!?!?
the magic of these chracters in comics is that it feels neverending. we dont know how ti wil ever end for these characters and we hop eit never does

btu this guy is so pretencious thinks he is entitled to acutally write off the character as if it were his own.
I was done with Geoff Johsn after that.
I hope he never returns to the series

Robert venditti ehh i dont feeel like going in depth ill just say his stories have been 8/10 pretty good but too many events.

7 used to be an 8. This book was great imo and has steadily declined in art and story in the last year, get rid of Tan and Venditti.

@wavemotioncannon: The "GREAT" Geoff Johns run with the book since the war of the green lanterns all the way till First Lantern and the third army were pretty bad too though

id say Venditti's run is a step up from that. I wish Mahnke would come back to do art.

But I agree this book out of all the lantern books is the weak link.

P.S i cant believe DC is cancelling the top 3 best lantern books to keep Sinestro. smh and they are letting Bunn do a seperate mini series of his own.

@comicvine_is_jericho529: Sinestro is newer than the others. my fav is Red Lanterns aswell. You haven't voted on Red Lanterns run yet though.

Sinestro is one of the best Lantern books out.
