How would you rank them from best to "worst"?

In terms of which was the better film? Cap 2 and spider 2 are tied for first with me personally leaning slightly towards cap. Batman and x-men are split for second.

In terms of which one improved the most from the original? Cap in a landslide.

I'm going to tag in some movie people like @frozen and @eyedcyou

Greatest to least greatest: The Dark Knight, Spider-Man 2, X-2 = The Winter Soldier. And here is why:

1. The Dark Knight: Dark, intelligent and thought provoking. It is not my favourite superhero film or even my favourite DC film (that spot belongs to The Dark Knight Rises) but it is still an amazing crime thriller & it's strength is that it can be appreciated on multiple levels: entertainment and complexity. Even though cop dialogue is still cringy and Maggie Gyllenhaal is cringe worthy, it is still a great piece of cinema.
2. Spider-Man 2: Great deconstruction of the Spider-Man character and an influential superhero film with overlapping themes and plot lines which tie together perfectly. The best Spider-Man film. Although a bit cheesy, that's mostly a testament to the Stan Lee / Steve Ditko Spider-Man comics of which this movie is based off of. A great movie and one of the best written, funniest and most passionate superhero films.
3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier: A good commentary on security and not a very black and white film. Elevates comic book films to the spy genre. Masterful action sequences and good performances.
4. X-2: Good acting, good cast, although not a very deep story. A fantastic comic book film which houses good character development, but not an overall strong film.
