@kamrenamir: There was a comic during Zero Hour back in the 90's where he went back in time, confronted Joe Chill but Chill was off his face on drugs meaning that he wasted time finding the guy he THOUGHT killed his parents. Now whether this is canon I doubt it, since the New 52 changed everything...except Batman's history

He met Chill in Morrisons run,then he met him in a retelling(cause that's what the New-52 is) recently,Batman:The Dark Knight #0. If you want the Morrison version I think it's Batman# 673.
