Question about Hyperion and Zarda of Earth-31916

So i was reading New ultimates Thor reborn and found a character that was pretty awesome and that character was Zarda who is refered to as a god so i went on the internet to find out some info. Turns out that Zarda is for earth-31916 and is the over to hyperion (marvels version of superman) an alien sent to earth and raised by the us goverment to be a weapon and zarda is from the same speices and were sent there to take over earth. So my question is are they both aliens or gods im kind of confused on this.
